Great hotel unfortunately full of kids and games by the pool . No adult area to relax . Beautiful sunset on the beach., good breakfast. Clean rooms

If you’re not French you will get blanked, entertainment staff will not talk to you if you’re not French. Miserable staff except one man behind the bar who actually smiles. Don’t expect freshly made cocktails (there are only 3 and all come from a crappy machine). If you like your food and have never eaten Iceland quality stuff then you probably won’t like the ‘food’ they serve here. In all honestly we are still wondering how on Earth they can serve freshly cooked eggs and bacon COLD day to day. Zero varity on breakfast also. During dinner beef dishes are usually nice but pork will by dry like Sahara desert so if you have dentures you’re fukt. Plenty more of unusual things going on here but I will let you find that out yourself if you choose to come here. Hotel itself is clean and area is nice so that’s a plus side.

Hotel is beautiful but has no a**osphere which felt strange. The AI package is not worth it as you’re restricted to what you can have. You want water in your room you have to pay for it and the coke is so bad I could t have a drink. I ended up buying bottles of coke from shop in hotel and just ordering vodka on its own. €3.50 for a litre of coke. We found it hard to sleep as the room was so hot and when I asked reception if they could have someone turn air con on I was told it was set to winter mode so it kept the room at 25. I asked what can I do to make room cooler and staff said stay till June when it comes down. I didn’t think that funny at all. The pool side bar is run by a wee lady who never smiles and is of no help at all. This was sad as the night bar had a great female working alone in bar near reception and she was awesome. Food was average at best and desert selection not worth looking at. Toast machine takes so long to make any bread brown I gave up and ate bread. I have stayed in AI all over the world from India to Spain and this is by far the worst. Wine like vinegar and soft drinks that are awful I will never go back. In saying all this it is a beautiful hotel and beautiful location and with right people be a success. Oh and when we were leaving we were demanded to pay €2 per person per day as a city tax. No one had said anything about this which just ended the trip on a Low.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Food was good. We had a nice time. The premises and the room were clean. 100% customer care. Also 100% care for the exterior. Definitely recommend, thank you. Greetings from Slovakia.

A very good hotel, rested in July 2023 with the family. Friendly staff, delicious food, good location of the hotel. I recommend it. A good adventure, incredible sea, fresh air. Free sunbeds and umbrellas.

Not a bad hotel, pool is decent and good toddler pool. Beaches are just stones as with anywhere in Croatia. Rooms decent also. Front desk staff permanently look confused at any question or request and have a bit of an attitude as if you’re bothering them (that was the overall feeling of the stay there). The staff in the restaurant area are incredibly rude and accusational, if you’re half board you don’t get a wrist band to signify that you have paid for certain meals so you basically get accosted as if you’re there eating in the restaurant when you shouldn’t be(this happened a few times) Not a great experience when one has paid a vast amount of money to stay there on a family holiday

Must say the hotel is in a nice spot beautiful views and the walk into Cavtat is pleasant Unfortunately for us these were the only positives. We stayed there in July which is perhaps the busiest time and a bit of an excuse for the very long food queues at mealtimes. It could also explain the used glasses and dirty plates left for hours in the corridors outside rooms. Same in the bar and not surprisingly the tables in the dining areas. Not a good look and makes the hotel appear scruffy. Our main grievance started with the room, so small we could only walk round it sideways. This was NOT the standard room advertised. No balcony which was surprising.According to jet2 rooms accommodate 2/3 people. Impossible !! Eventually relocated at a cost. Took this to their complaints dept on return but a total waste of time.. The entertainment day and night was just for french speaking. Differs again from the jet2 description. Queried with reception and was told 'no English entertainment' The manager defended this saying it was miscommunication but comments on Facebook confirm our version. We all have different opinions about food quality and I wouldn't be arrogant and question other people's opinions but for us it was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were just about OK but all other meals were poor. Half cooked bloody pork steaks one day. Too many examples to repeat. All subject to long food queues, some days just couldn't be bothered. Drinks were rubbish.. Tried various spirits with their undrinkable coke and couldn't finish one of them. Beer was sometimes ok if the pump was working properly.The soft drinks also poor. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Not a big issue but when we were checking out and looked under our bed surprised to find someone's discarded water bottle. Wonder how long it had been there? Security at the hotel was non existent. The 'private' beach is open to the public which probably explained the difficulties in getting a sunbed.. On our last nite we were woken by people in the swimming pool around 4am. We have done several AI holidays over the last year and without doubt this was by far the worst. Very disappointing.

Hotel was lovely, rooms were spotless. Staff in the dining room were excellent very helpful. Kate was lovely big smile for everyone. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Beautiful views and lovely boat trips to Dubrovnik. Can’t wait to go back

The Hotel Epidaurus was presented as a *** star hotel, but after this experience I could easily give it 4 stars. The room itself, the service, the food in restaurant, all this was just perfect. Room was cleaned every day, and the staff was very polite and always friendly. Dinners in restaurant were quite versatile day after day. The view from our room, where we had also balcony was breathtaking! And not forgetting that it's very close to the hotels own beech, where always could find the free sunbeds. And of course animation was lovely. Thank you for wonderful staying! We really enjoyed it!
