The hotel accomodated my early check-in and late check-out request, even upgraded my room to a bigger one!
Room was extremely clean and well maintained.
Hotel staff was very professional and courteous.
Highly recommend Ascott if you travel to Changsha!

The building is new and near the river. We had the apartment which had a nice sized refrigerator and washing/dryer machine. All amenities were new, clean, and useful. The walls are thin and we could hear the neighbor above us and in the hallway, and a lot of light seeped through the door at night. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Check in attitude was so poor, the staff looked so depressed. This is not 5 star service. They didn’t even speak English. I try my best to use my broken chinese. For being in a metropolitan city like Changsha, I had higher expectations. Breakfast I would give 1 star. The chefs really tried their best to give me food I like, the breakfast staff and chefs had a nice attitude, willingness to help. Location is ok, in a quiet area, takes about 15-20 mins to main city area.

It's really hot and stuffy without air conditioning in this season.
Everything was good, with complete facilities and a shopping mall downstairs. But I can't understand why there is no air conditioning.
