The newly opened hotel has a fantastic location, right inside Taiping Old Street, near the north entrance, and very convenient to the subway station, Wuyi Square, Pozi Street, Chaozong Street, and Huangxing Pedestrian Street! Breakfast is provided, but it's a set meal, not a buffet. The hotel facilities are new, and the rooms are spacious. The hairdryer is a Laifen brand, which is great! The entire room is also equipped with smart home technology. The downsides are the service. I called twice and couldn't find the hotel entrance; they said to add me on WeChat first, but they could have just told me which side it was across from… Also, several times I passed by the front desk in the morning and evening and there was no one there. I didn't know who to ask for breakfast… The front desk urged me to check out at 12 pm, even though Ctrip had extended it to 2 pm, and they still gave me the same old official response of 12 pm… Another major drawback is that there were four or five sudden, loud bangs… when I asked why, they just apologized and said it was an internal problem. Also, there's construction next door, which is very noisy; I couldn't sleep from 7 am onwards! When I asked the front desk if they could help resolve the issue, they just gave me vague answers like ”I'm sorry...bad experience,” etc., without actually solving the problem. Plus, the noise level was like a kitchen exhaust fan first thing in the morning... The cleanliness on the second day wasn't great either; they only gave me a few tissues, which were used up quickly, the sheets hadn't been changed, and there were small stones on the bed...

The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location at Wuyi Square is unbeatable, extremely close to all the major attractions, making it super convenient. Just steps away, Wuyi Square offers a myriad of dining options. Despite its central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night. Thoughtful touches like disposable facial tissues were provided. Housekeeping was also available even for our two-night stay. Definitely a five-star experience! I highly, highly recommend this place.

Environment: Passing through Changsha, I chose Hualu Hotel for its convenient location. Wenheyou, Pozi Street, Huoguangdian, Taiping Old Street, and a stroll along the Xiangjiang River are all within a 5-10 minute walk. While those who don't like spicy food might not be comfortable with Changsha's cuisine, the street is packed with Cha Yan Family restaurants and authentic stinky tofu. Facilities: Parking is free, but the hotel is located on the ground floor of a construction site that looks like an unfinished building. The last two or three hundred meters involve a narrow alley with three consecutive turns, so novice drivers should be wary. Aside from the somewhat intimidating parking lot, the room was quite nice. Service: The hotel proactively contacted me with a video of the parking route before arrival. Upon check-in, they promptly informed me that the air conditioning temperature was lower than set and provided me with information about the laundry and gym facilities along the way. Regardless of whether they used it, their proactive service is commendable.
