This courtyard-style hotel is not only a place to rest, but also an immersive experience of dialogue with history. ### **First encounter: a poetic residence with ancient charm and modern style** The hotel is cleverly located, adjacent to the Hanjiang River and the core area of ​​the ancient city of Chaozhou. It only takes a few minutes to walk to attractions such as Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple. Pushing open the wooden door with black lacquered copper rings, the hustle and bustle is instantly isolated from the outside. The Lingnan courtyards with white walls, black tiles, and flying eaves are scattered in an orderly manner. A koi pond in the courtyard reflects the dancing bamboo shadows, and the gaps between the stone steps are dotted with moss, as if you have strayed into the private residence of literati in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The staff at the front desk, dressed in plain cheongsam, smiled and handed over a cup of Phoenix Dancong tea. When I pushed the door open, the original wood furniture and plain linen curtains created an elegant atmosphere. Handmade red clay tea sets and Phoenix Dancong tea bags were placed on the table; the bathroom wall was inlaid with Chaozhou's traditional shell gray bricks. When the night was quiet, leaning on the rattan chair in the courtyard, listening to the wind chimes on the eaves, watching the moonlight sprinkled on the blue brick floor, it seemed as if I was breathing with the Chaozhou culture thousands of years ago. ### **Food: Chaoshan style on the tip of the tongue** Breakfast is a bowl of hot beef rice noodle soup, hand-made beef balls are chewy and juicy, and the soup base is clear but fresh and fragrant. ### **Garden tour: immersive cultural gathering** The hotel itself is a cultural attraction. The housekeeper asked about the arrival time one day in advance and sent a guide to Chaozhou. When leaving the hotel, you received a gift of old medicinal oranges and Buddha's hand fruit, and a handwritten Chaozhou dialect blessing card... All these details make the stay more than just "home away from home", but more like a cultural empathy with a confidant. ### **There is a place to stay here, where you can rest your body and mind** During the two-day and one-night stay, Han Ting Bie Yuan used space as a medium to tell the cultural context, customs and hospitality philosophy of Chaozhou. It does not pursue efficiency like a standardized hotel, but invites you to slow down: read a volume of "Han Yu's Collected Works" in the fragrance of tea, listen to a Chaozhou string poem under the moonlight, and let your body and mind find a place to return to in the rhythm of the thousand-year-old ancient city.

I recommend this hotel. I think the location is very convenient. You can walk to major attractions without taking a taxi. The hotel covers a large area, the yard is too beautiful, and there is a swimming pool. The service is also good. The beauty in room 005 helped us move our luggage and provided quilts. I personally think it is very good. I had the Hanfu experience and afternoon tea, which were all OK. The only thing to improve is that I think the breakfast is average and not worth the price of 80 for adults and 50 for children. Especially the eggs, I feel they are not fresh, and the yolks are on the side. But the flaws do not outweigh the merits. I still recommend it.
