Hotels in People's Square, Chaozhou

The hotel is right inside the scenic area, opposite the Kaiyuan Temple and Paifang Street. It is very convenient for families with children and is very close to Guangji Bridge. There is also a light show on Guangji Bridge at night, which starts at 8 o'clock and lasts for 10 minutes. The hotel rooms are clean and sanitary, and there are coffee, black tea... complete facilities in the room. There is also a laundry room downstairs, which is very nice and convenient.

Amenities: The room was well-equipped with a refrigerator, a smart toilet, and other modern conveniences. The shower cubicle was refined yet spacious. High-quality Bai Cao Ji toiletries were provided, and the fridge thoughtfully included two complimentary canned drinks and four bottles of mineral water. Tea bags and pastries were also a welcome addition. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no dirt, stains, or unpleasant odors whatsoever. Environment: The room was spacious and the bed was generously sized. A minor drawback was that some rooms' windows faced the corridor; however, this didn't significantly impact our stay once the window was closed. Service: The hotel service was excellent. The parking service was particularly essential, as it's quite difficult to find parking near Chaozhou Ancient City. For guests traveling by car, dedicated parking is an absolute must. The hotel's location, just across the road from Chaozhou Ancient City, was incredibly convenient.

Our stay at this delightful B&B near Paifang Street exceeded all expectations! The room masterfully combined traditional Teochew craftsmanship with modern amenities - intricate wood carvings, a heavenly comfortable bed, and a charming sitting area perfect for enjoying local teas.   The thoughtful host provided excellent recommendations, from hidden street food stalls to the best time to visit Guangji Bridge.

The twin room is very spacious, and the mattress is moderately hard and soft, so you can have a good sleep even on a business trip. The front desk took the initiative to help upgrade the room, and the 230° window has a wider view. The complimentary breakfast is also very good, with soy milk, fried rice noodles, etc. The service is warm, the front desk ladies are very good, and there are free parking lots, laundry rooms, gyms, etc. I will come to experience it next time!

We booked a two-bedroom apartment with one living room and one bathroom. It was very spacious and clean! Check-in was quick and smooth, and there's a parking lot conveniently located right next to the hotel. Throughout our stay, we noticed many staff members diligently cleaning and tidying. The two parking attendants were also very polite and attentive; when we were leaving, we handed them the parking voucher provided by the front desk, and they even thoughtfully asked if we would be returning to park later! The hotel provided complimentary local specialty biscuits and Lipton tea bags. We were assigned an end room, and it was wonderfully quiet – we didn't experience any noise at all. We also requested an extra quilt, and the staff promptly brought it to our room. Regarding the downsides: there was a noticeable amount of dust inside the air conditioner. I hope the relevant staff can arrange for regular cleaning of these units. The toilet and shower area are within the same space, separated by a partition wall. While the shower has a door, the toilet itself does not. However, the entire bathroom area is enclosed by a frosted glass door, ensuring privacy. Also, the living room sofa was a bit firm. Overall, it was quite satisfactory, and we would definitely stay here again! (It's a shame I forgot to take any photos!)

Had a lovely 1 night stay here - the hotel is right in the middle of the old town area but down a quiet back street so it’s nice and quiet on an evening but a close walk to the tourist areas. Ula and Leo on reception were very helpful, they kept checking in on us by wechat to make sure everything was ok and we had everything we needed - they also let us do a late check out for no extra charge. The aesthetic of the hotel is very traditional Chaozhou style, but the rooms are very modern inside. No complaints at all and would definitely stay again if I come back to Chaozhou.

The guesthouse location is excellent. It's super convenient to hail a taxi or grab a shared bike right downstairs, and if you're planning a longer visit, you can even rent an e-scooter. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the interior design was completely to my taste. Our stay was brief this time, but we caught the evening light show, which was absolutely stunning.

Another hotel in Chaoshan that I'm really pleased with! It's very close to Paifang Street, and the surrounding area is a vibrant street with plenty of options for dining, shopping, and entertainment. During check-in, the receptionist kindly informed us that there was construction next door, which might cause some noise in the morning. When we mentioned that we were on vacation and hoping for a quiet stay, another staff member immediately and discreetly upgraded our room, placing us in a building further back. This level of service was truly exceptional! The room was also clean, and it even had a massage chair, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. I was really surprised to find soundproof doors – that's something you don't often see! On the same floor, there's also a laundry room and a gym. Although it was still a bit noisy the next morning, overall, it was a great stay. The room rate was very reasonable, and the service was absolutely top-notch.

We have been travelling in China for 10 weeks and this is the cleanest and smartest hotel we have stayed in and it was a very reasonable price. It felt like an expensive hotel and was very close to the attractions of the old city.

I stayed in 3 hotels in Guangzhou, and this one has the best service attitude and the most complete facilities. It is very clean and surrounded by must-try foods. It is a short walk to Paifang Street, and it is very convenient to take a taxi or order takeout. The service attitude is so good that I don’t want to go out when I stay in the hotel. I highly recommend this place!
