Honestly, the room photos on the platform looked quite ordinary. But we were truly amazed from the moment we entered the hotel and saw our room. The location is outstanding – right next to Paifang Street (Simalu), opposite a Buddhist temple, and just a 3-5 minute walk to Guangji Bridge and other sights. I specifically booked this hotel because of its prime location. My kids absolutely loved the room too. It's definitely worth the price. The room was impeccably clean, and even the bathroom blinds were fully automatic and smart, which was a very pleasant surprise. We were extremely satisfied. The ladies at the front desk were all incredibly gentle and friendly. It's genuinely rare to find a hotel with such a 5-star environment in the old city area. This will certainly be our top choice for future visits. Even the decor at the entrance made a wonderful first impression.

Facilities: The parent-child room we booked is very convenient on the first floor. The recreational facilities are so complete. The children had a lot of fun playing for three days. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The housekeeper will ask about the cleaning requirements every day. Environment: Quiet. Although it is on the first floor, the sound insulation is really good. Service: The housekeeper service is very considerate and answers all questions. Highly recommended for families traveling with children. We are two mothers with two children, and there is plenty of space.

After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to bring my parents here, and the hotel did not disappoint! We booked the family suite, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The package included delicious breakfast with a good variety of options, as well as unlimited snacks/ dessert of the day, throughout our stay—a really nice touch! What made our experience even better was their new service: a free 3-hour local tour of nearby attractions. Our guide, 小许 (Xiao Xu), was amazing—patient, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories about the sights. If you’re visiting 潮州for the first time and want a relaxing place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location near Zhumumen Gate (drop off / pickup if you're taking Didi from the train station), and less than 10min walk to Guangji Bridge and the food streets. Room was quaint and comfy, good ventilation and air conditioning. Bathroom a bit tiny, but clean and really appreciate that there's a door separating the shower and toilet. Bonus points for the cute chonky cat in the lobby~

The inn is only a few steps away from the Guangji Gate Tower and has convenient transportation. It is very close to Archway Street and Guangji Bridge. It is also convenient to go shopping in the ancient city after 10 pm when there are fewer tourists. The room environment is warmly decorated, clean and comfortable. It is located in a small alley next to Guangji Gate. It is quiet in the bustle. It is good to have a good rest at night without being noisy. The customer service Xiao Xu was enthusiastic and considerate. He asked about travel methods in advance and gave route suggestions. It was a very satisfying stay experience.

Hotel was located in the best location, very easy to move around, all the attractions and restaurants were around in the walking distance. Staff of hotel was very friendly, very helpful. Room and amenities were superb. The only complaint about this hotel is no elevator so it was quite difficult for group members as all of us are over 70+ years old.

The service was truly exceptional; everything from check-in to check-out was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff processed my check-in quickly and patiently, always ready to answer any questions. The housekeeping team cleaned my room spotlessly every day and even carefully tidied up scattered items, making me feel right at home. The laundry service was a huge plus! My clothes got dirty during my business trip, and I was starting to worry, but the hotel's laundry service was surprisingly fast and professional. My clothes came back clean, neat, and with a faint fresh scent. They were perfectly dried too, making them very comfortable to wear. It really saved me a lot of trouble. The hotel's tea room was an unexpected gem. The ambiance was incredibly elegant and quiet, with a full set of tea utensils and good quality tea leaves. After a busy day, coming here to sit for a while, brewing a pot of tea, helped me feel completely relaxed. It's perfect for quiet reflection or a casual chat with friends. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything and will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is excellent and quiet, with private parking and diligent security. The interior design is stylish and practical. The two front desk staff members checking us in weren't wearing uniforms, and in perfect synchronization, they both tried to coax two separate groups of guests into upgrading their rooms by asking them to 1. add them on WeChat, 2. copy-paste hotel-provided content for a review after check-out, and 3. leave a five-star rating. Their pitch was clearly well-rehearsed. Because we requested two rooms on the same floor, they could only 'upgrade' one, otherwise they couldn't accommodate our request. Amusingly, upon entering rooms 410 and 411, we immediately noticed there was no discernible difference between the two in terms of room design, size, furniture, or facilities. It was a 'pointless upgrade' at best, but room 410 also had a distinctly pungent smoke smell. The housekeeping staff tried to explain that the smell was just air freshener, an explanation we promptly rejected. They then showed us room 415, which also reeked of smoke. Finally, room 412 was acceptable. In total, we saw four rooms on the 4th floor, and the only discernible difference among them was the smell. Honestly, for the sake of five-star reviews, this hotel clearly has no ethical bottom line. Oh, and in room 411, there was a visible cobweb hanging from the ceiling above the bed – maybe clean that up when you have a moment.

This hotel is really old. The socket panel in the bathroom has fallen off. The hair dryer has poor contact and needs to be blown in the room. The toilet has been leaking and making noises. The toilet seat cover makes a harsh sound when it opens and closes. Fortunately, it doesn't affect sleep when the door is closed... The breakfast has few choices and tastes bad... The price has almost tripled during the May Day holiday. I didn't want to go there, so I just stayed for three nights. It's better not to go there during holidays. The experience is really not good. The location is quite convenient. It's a few kilometers to walk to West Lake Park, about 20 yuan to take a taxi to the ancient city, 53 yuan to the high-speed rail station, or go to the bus station next to it.

The service is of a high standard and the front desk staff can speak Cantonese and are super honest. The waiter, Ms. Huang, personally drove the electric car to the parking lot for me to pick up the car. She was so capable. Although the car park is 700 meters away from the hotel, the hotel is right at the intersection of the ancient city. After exiting the hotel, turn right and walk into the ancient city. Then go straight and you will reach the ancient city gate. It is extremely convenient. It is recommended to choose this hotel, and it has family rooms!
