Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Airport

After a 10 hrs drive, I got to the hotel around 10 pm to be told that my reservation was canceled and I was called which is a lie. When I asked about the phone # they called it was not mine?? I was told by a rude front desk nothing to be done... No night shift MOD was available. After, a call to the awesome Trip.com customer service & the Hilton Hq. my reservation was, all of the sudden, honored. I love Home2 suites 'cause of their pet policy, amenities... but this location I will never stay at this location.

Great location to our destination for a concert

Good place, near the airport and gas station, suitable for road trip

The property and the rooms were very clean and well kept. The only things we were not a fan of nor were we made aware of before booking is the fact that the hotel is directly under the flight path of landing planes which means it is loud all through the day and night. We were aware it was near the airport but not the noise level. That should be advertised in the listing on all sites. We sadly did not look to see how little there was around the hotel, food options are scarce and we had no choice but to go back towards downtown for food unless we wanted gas station food or fast food. The only thing the hotel should really consider updating is ther TVs in their rooms and their pillows, both leave a lot to be desired. The TVs albeit “smart capable” do not allowed for any casting from smart devices to watch your streaming apps. The pillows honestly need to be replaced entirely they feel as though they reached their last leg years ago and no longer feel like a pillow but instead a loose sack of filling. Breakfast was great, the hotel is extremely clean, plenty of parking, but alas there’s a few things to look into for future guests. Overall in a pinch I would stay here again but I wouldn’t stay here if it was just for leisure.

This place is really nice but it’s right next to the airport and you hear planes flying by all night long and all day. Along with that our room had a bunch of ladybugs on the wall and floor good morning we woke up. Wasn’t too happy about it as the place is really nice and still had bugs around the room.
