Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga/Near Hamilton P

This hotel was NOTHING as expected. My husband and I went to Chattanooga for a short get-a-way, but was VERY disappointed in this hotel. Smelled musty and felt "damp". Had to use an inhaler, but kept wheezing bad. NO breakfast at all which was supposed to be. Only coffee, which was terrible. DEFINITELY would not stay again.

I’ve never written a review before but I went out of my way to make a profile in order to warn everyone before staying here. Stay under a bridge before you book a room here. There are *********s going on in the hotel and parking lot along with ************. The hotel is under investigation. They threw out every piece of property we had because THEY messed up the check out date… the woman who booked us even admitted that she messed this up. The manager screamed and cussed at me when we tried to get a refund. When we got our things back in a giant trash bag my medications were missing. The police are involved and they are under investigation. This establishment is a joke.

Too many rough looking people hanging in lobby area, at night. However Anna was very professional and attentive to all customers including me. Only stayed because of her and the breakfast was very good.

The property was hard to find due to it being in the cut with minimal lighting. After it was found, the outside was nasty. The front desk did not acknowledge me for about 5 minutes. The room i checked in smelled like smoke but had a non smoking sign everywhere. Changed to another room and it smelled like mold. Easy check out tho. Refund processes within 24 hours. Only at the property for 20 minutes to look for another place to stay.

They only had 1 wimpy pillow per person and when I asked for more they said they had no more pillows. Really?? I didn't believe them.....The TN welcome center had a $59 coupon for this Microtel but when we got there they wouldn't take it. $76 not bad but this place is not worth that even in inflation. They advertise hot breakfast but that turns out to be only on weekends. I will say it was newer and therefore clean. I had been up since 4:30am, drove all day and still neither of us could sleep...it was a miserable,noisy, and uncomfortable night. I will never stay at a Microtel again.

Don't stay here. You are not wanted, unless you are there for trouble avoid at all costs. No one was available to resolve anything. The front desk and housekeeping were acting like we didn't have an arrangement for late checkout. They were trying to force us out, we didn't do anything to deserve this treatment. Very, very unsecure!!!

Booked online, not familiar with Chattanooga we assumed being a Wyndham it would be nice. WRONG, WRONG! This was the dirtiest, nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Being late at night we were stuck. The smell of dank musty air in the room made it hard to sleep. We left our clothes we traveled 11 hours not knowing if the sheets were clean. People living in the woods wandered

The worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Save yourself money and find another hotel. There was stains in the entire room. Sheets were dirty, bathroom was nasty, urine filled towel in garbage. Room was not cleaned or sanitized. There was no fire alarm. I will never come back. If zero stars was an option I would choose that. There was also people in the lobby that were clearly on *****, and a deal happened in front of me. The guy who checked us in at the front was very nice, and the only reason why they got “very good” on service.

What a trashy establishment. Not only did it smell like stale cigarette smoke, the carpets were disgusting (nails, bandaids, stains, and hairs throughout) when I went to my room the walls were filthy (like stains where people had been leaning on them, missing paint) bedding was stained and the bathroom had hair everywhere. I should have realized something was off when I arrived and 2 of the windows on different floors were open and people were smoking out of them, one window had tin foil over it, and a young child asked me in the lobby if I’d pay him $1 to take my trash out. I couldn’t bring my young children to stay here and requested a refund due to the conditions. I will say the young girl at the desk understood I could not bring an infant into a room that smelt like stale cigarettes but I think she was just trying to get me out quickly because she was on her way out to have a smoke (cigarette and lighter in hand.). Whoever owns this place really needs to reevaluate their business model. Don’t waste your time and book elsewhere! We ended up staying about 15 minutes away at Country Inn & Suites: Chattanooga-Lookout Mountain and it was BEAUTIFUL!
