Chagan Narisu Hotel

If you come to Ulanqab alone, you can take a taxi from Zhuozi East Station. The hotel is located on the grassland of Huitengxile Grassland. The owner is a local and runs a yurt homestay. I am traveling alone without a car. Although I can't get a taxi on the grassland, the local herdsmen's horse farm and rapeseed fields are across the road from the yard of the homestay. Walking east along the grass slope, there are beautiful wind turbines. Walking west, there are cattle, sheep and horses grazing by local herdsmen. Within 2 kilometers around the hotel, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the grassland and pastoral area on foot. The boss is very nice and provided a lot of help for me who has no car and is alone. I feel very relieved. There is no sales promotion and rigid consumption. If you want to ride horses and archery or go to the scenic spot to watch performances, the boss also has preferential channels. The mutton in the restaurant is fresh mutton raised in the pastoral area, the price is fair, and it is very authentic. The yurt accommodation environment is OK, with music, fireworks and bonfires at night. Although I haven't experienced other homestays, choosing this homestay has very good guarantees for grassland play experience, food and accommodation. I highly recommend this homestay. I wish the boss a prosperous business and the resort is getting better and better!

The service is still very good, there is a young man wearing glasses who is nice. It's just that the hygiene is really not very good, the quilt is yellow, and the quilt looks like it was fished out of the water, it's too damp. The location is very convenient, opposite are horse riding and go-kart driving. But don’t come if you are afraid of bugs, there are really many bugs. There are countless insects like spiders, flies, centipedes, moths, and black hard-shelled insects. PS: It is basically impossible to wash in the shower because the bathroom is too small. It is about an hour away from the city. If you drive by yourself, it is recommended to stay in Jining.

The hotel is strategically located, the first store at the south entrance of Huitengxile Grassland. There is a small hill opposite the hotel, and you can easily climb to the top to get a bird's eye view of the grassland windmill forest. The small canyon next to the hotel is a small forest with a primitive appearance, which feels a little bit like Switzerland. If you travel slowly alone, you can completely skip any attractions and just stroll around the grasslands and ravines near the hotel every day. The price of the yurt is very favorable. The boss's store has everything, including a small supermarket, specialties, ethnic costumes, and fireworks. You can get discounts by asking the boss to ride a horse or a motorcycle. The location is very good, just on the road to the scenic spot, the parking lot is very spacious, the accommodation environment is also good, the bed and quilt are very clean. There is also a bonfire party at night, setting off fireworks 😀 The grilled lamb chops and dumplings stuffed with sand onions are so delicious. I want to go again, I want to go again, I want to go again…

Convenient transportation! Very clean. There is horse riding opposite, the lowest price in the scenic area. When there is no group, individual tourists are very quiet, right on the mountain with a wide view. Affordable price. Will come again in the future!

Simple and clean, the yurt feels good, and the barbecue is also good

As for the yurt, I didn't have high expectations. We arrived late and were the last to check in. There was a bonfire party for the kids in the summer camp. The smallest yurt has a toilet, a bed, and enough quilts and pillows. There is a shower machine, but I don't know how to use it, so I gave up taking a shower. There is a heating fan for heating. Everything is OK for this price.

The bedding was damp, there was no hot water, and washing was inconvenient. There were fireworks at night, and you could watch the sunrise on the opposite mountain.

Although I couldn't take a shower due to the conditions, the experience of staying in the yurt was still very good. The owner was hospitable and the hotel was in a good location. There were horseback riding nearby. When you get up in the morning and walk in the grassland, you can see voles running around. It should be noted that the grassland is low in temperature at night, so you need to wear thick clothes.
