"On a spontaneous road trip through Henan, we booked this hotel right next to the Drum Tower. The room was tiny; there wasn't even a private spot in the bathroom to change. The 'scenic view' room offered a nice panoramic view of the Drum Tower, which was a plus. However, being above the Drum Tower night market meant it was incredibly noisy at night. The room window was broken and they were fixing it until after 10 PM. Once it was finally closed, it did quiet down. We paid for breakfast vouchers, only to find out the next morning that no one was checking them. The breakfast area was packed, and while they gave out electronic pagers for the noodle station, it was pure chaos and a free-for-all. On the bright side, the hotel has its own parking lot and EV charging stations, which was very convenient. After checking out, the hotel called asking for a good review, which I found incredibly annoying. It makes me suspect their high ratings are probably inflated."

"Extremely satisfied! Great value for money. It's right by the Bell Tower Plaza, and you step out directly into the night market. Xiangguo Temple and Shanxi-Shaanxi-Gansu Guild Hall are within walking distance, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. Super convenient! The room is newly renovated, very clean and tidy, and the smart control system is really handy. The staff are also very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel environment is fantastic! There's a big lawn right as you enter. It's super convenient, just a few hundred meters walk from Qingming Riverside Landscape Park. We spent two days at Qingyuan and still didn't want to leave! The hotel service was also great, and they didn't even ask for a good review – I'm writing this proactively! All the nearby attractions are concentrated, so staying here is very handy. The only downside was that I couldn't get used to the food in Kaifeng, it was too salty 😂"

The guest rooms were spotlessly clean, and the Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience bed was so soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the amenities were high quality. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout my stay, check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled promptly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the gym and pool facilities were well-maintained. The location is convenient for getting around, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!"

"My stay at Ping Song Hotel in Kaifeng was an absolute embodiment of 'Song Dynasty charm.' The moment I stepped into the lobby, the antique furnishings and perfectly lit ambiance immediately created an incredible atmosphere. The room facilities were very modern, especially the smart control system – I could turn on the lights and close the curtains just by speaking, which was a dream for someone like me! Yet, the overall design blended perfectly with the Song Dynasty style, without any jarring elements. The cleanliness deserves full marks; the floors and tabletops were spotless, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent. Most importantly, the bedding felt meticulously cared for – clean and soft, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The service was impeccable. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they thoughtfully provided a Kaifeng tourist map. Room service was also very prompt. The biggest bonus was the souvenir I received when checking out: a beautifully packaged box of Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea. This thoughtful gesture truly touched me and brought my Kaifeng trip to a perfect close."

"Traveling with family, we were looking for a hotel with large twin beds, and we found this one that actually had two 1.8-meter beds! It's perfect for families with two children. We opted for the 1.8m and 1.3m family suite, which came with a living room and was quite spacious. The massage chair was brand new and very comfortable. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff proactively introduced local attractions during check-in, recommended places to eat, and even provided a tourist map. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which is very convenient. For just over 200 during the off-season, it was an incredible value. It's also very close to Kaifeng Mansion, just a few hundred meters away. We managed to rush with our two kids and even caught the opening ceremony!"

"This hotel is in a very convenient location, right next to the famous 'First Building' restaurant. It's also just a seven to eight-minute walk to the Gulou Night Market. The hotel even upgraded me to a family room... which unexpectedly came with one large bed and one standard bed, both with Mickey Mouse bedding. The room was quite clean, but the lighting was really dim. It was hard to even apply foundation properly, I couldn't tell where I'd missed a spot. The bathroom door was also awkwardly placed; when open, it blocked the sink. 🤣 Surprisingly, the hotel also offers a late-night snack service with beer. The front desk area was quite lively at night with guests going to get mini wontons. However, you can only redeem them after 10 PM, and the front desk seemed understaffed, so it was a bit chaotic during redemption. Breakfast is on the 6th floor. It had all the usual offerings, including noodles and mini wontons, but the taste was just average, and the milk wasn't very good. The front desk on the seventh floor also provides traditional costumes for guests to borrow and take photos. Upon checkout, I even received a souvenir. Overall, it was decent. The main reason I chose it was for the convenience on my last day; I planned to visit an attraction in the morning, then eat at the 'First Building' restaurant, and it was handy to pick up my luggage right next door afterwards."

"The classical garden design offers a new view with every step, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was my first time staying here, and the staff proactively escorted me to my room, otherwise, it would have been quite difficult to find on my own. The room facilities are relatively good and it's very quiet, with decent soundproofing. The hotel breakfast is mainly Chinese, with noodles, wontons, and also bread, salad, stir-fries, and fried noodles. It's quite filling."
