"The room was clean and tidy, and it's quite close to all the attractions. Getting a taxi was also very convenient. On the first floor, there's free self-service coffee and juice, and you can even try making lacquered fans for free, which the kids absolutely loved. The best part is the smart home system throughout, it was super convenient!"

"The hygiene is quite good for a new store. The environment is in a courtyard, with a parking lot and charging stations right at the entrance. It's only one traffic light away from the night market, which is acceptable. There are also free Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) to wear, but you have to go to a Hanfu store there. Overall, it's alright."

"The location is great, right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Park, about a 300-meter walk to the scenic area. Public transportation is convenient, making it easy to get around and find food. There's also an underground parking lot, which is very convenient for parking. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with any request. They even proactively shared local travel tips. The little cats and dogs in the courtyard were also adorable. The room facilities were complete, and the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm – though a humidifier would be a nice bonus. The hairdryer and toilet in the room were excellent, and the hot water was very comfortable. Each room has a unique design, perfect for couples. Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant, offering great value for money. I'll definitely come back again!"

Boyun Shangyuan Hotel

"Facilities: The rooms are all made of solid wood, so there was a slight smell of wood shavings upon entering, but air purification equipment was provided. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable. The rooms are small, but there weren't many hard-to-reach corners. Environment: There's a small courtyard at the back, and it's relatively quiet if you stay at the end of the corridor. Regarding soundproofing, I stayed at two hotels in Banmuyuan during this trip and found it wasn't a problem with their renovations, but rather with the building structure. You can definitely hear any noises from upstairs, but Banmuyuan is indeed very close to the East Gate. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly. When I stayed at Qianna, they didn't even make a sound when I entered or left the room. The front desk also provided white fungus and lotus seed soup, red date and ginger tea, and snacks. There was also a small fruit platter in the room. Breakfast wasn't very varied; many villa hotels don't allow cooking, but at least they had some."

Mercure Kaifeng Qingming Shangheyuan Hotel

"Location is near to attraction (wansuishan) but not adviseable to walk since it will be a long day walking Hotel Entrance is on a small street and tend to have traffic congestion due to the illegal parking Reception are friendly and helpful to a certain extend. Got free breakfast from member signup but the spread is disappointing . Went at 9am and most of the beverages are depleted. Instead of topping up, the staff tilt the dispenser for more beverages. The only meal item in the breakfast is just the mini hotdog Rooms is quite spacious, with separate bath and toilet. Lights switch is a mess with the bedside switch working on and off. Digital bidet is not working. Hot water is limited. Waited 5 mins for hot water and then halfway thru, the hot water ceases. Only 3 tv channel with no digital app available. Air ventilation quite bad as we can smell the smoke in our room. Althought there is a non smoking sign in the lobby, ppl are just ignoring thd sign. Direction to the laundry is not clear."
