"My stay here was exceptionally good! The hotel is conveniently located right in the Gulou business district, so all the major attractions are within walking distance. The room was spotless, no strange odors, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and even offered Hanfu makeup and styling appointments. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious. Plus, the self-service laundry room was very handy. It's excellent value for money! I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Kaifeng!"

"We brought our kids to Kaifeng to visit Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and this hotel is really close to the entrance, just a few minutes' walk away. The front desk staff were quite welcoming, and the hotel itself was decent and pretty clean. The only downside is there's no elevator, so if you're traveling with elderly people or a lot of luggage, it's a good idea to call ahead and ask for a room on the ground floor."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near Shudian Street and Gulou Night Market, making it easy to get around. It's also very quiet and comfortable, and the room had no strange smells. The front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a deluxe twin room for free and even gave me a Dragon Boat Festival bracelet, which I really appreciated! 😍 The room was very quiet, with a smart toilet, automatic curtains, a full set of toiletries (even body lotion!), and they even gave me local peanut soy milk – a truly excellent stay. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, and the hairdryer is quite powerful. Highly recommended!"

"The location is great, right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Park, about a 300-meter walk to the scenic area. Public transportation is convenient, making it easy to get around and find food. There's also an underground parking lot, which is very convenient for parking. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with any request. They even proactively shared local travel tips. The little cats and dogs in the courtyard were also adorable. The room facilities were complete, and the underfloor heating was wonderfully warm – though a humidifier would be a nice bonus. The hairdryer and toilet in the room were excellent, and the hot water was very comfortable. Each room has a unique design, perfect for couples. Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant, offering great value for money. I'll definitely come back again!"

"Service: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and always smiling. Lobby welcome snacks: Highly recommend the cookies, I loved them! Environment: Great for photos, both the lobby and the courtyard views are beautiful. Hygiene: Relatively clean. The best part was that they knew we had a child and prepared special children's toiletries and slippers! For that alone, I'd definitely come back!"
Boyun Shangyuan Hotel
"Facilities: The rooms are all made of solid wood, so there was a slight smell of wood shavings upon entering, but air purification equipment was provided. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable. The rooms are small, but there weren't many hard-to-reach corners. Environment: There's a small courtyard at the back, and it's relatively quiet if you stay at the end of the corridor. Regarding soundproofing, I stayed at two hotels in Banmuyuan during this trip and found it wasn't a problem with their renovations, but rather with the building structure. You can definitely hear any noises from upstairs, but Banmuyuan is indeed very close to the East Gate. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly. When I stayed at Qianna, they didn't even make a sound when I entered or left the room. The front desk also provided white fungus and lotus seed soup, red date and ginger tea, and snacks. There was also a small fruit platter in the room. Breakfast wasn't very varied; many villa hotels don't allow cooking, but at least they had some."

"Location is near to attraction (wansuishan) but not adviseable to walk since it will be a long day walking Hotel Entrance is on a small street and tend to have traffic congestion due to the illegal parking Reception are friendly and helpful to a certain extend. Got free breakfast from member signup but the spread is disappointing . Went at 9am and most of the beverages are depleted. Instead of topping up, the staff tilt the dispenser for more beverages. The only meal item in the breakfast is just the mini hotdog Rooms is quite spacious, with separate bath and toilet. Lights switch is a mess with the bedside switch working on and off. Digital bidet is not working. Hot water is limited. Waited 5 mins for hot water and then halfway thru, the hot water ceases. Only 3 tv channel with no digital app available. Air ventilation quite bad as we can smell the smoke in our room. Althought there is a non smoking sign in the lobby, ppl are just ignoring thd sign. Direction to the laundry is not clear."
