Chuanxing Yinli Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley)

This hotel is a renovated old building, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic, perfect for taking photos. The hotel's design is very unique, and the staff's service is incredibly attentive. The toiletries and bedding are excellent. It's also conveniently located, close to all the major attractions in Chengdu. It's definitely a hotel I'd choose to stay at again on my next visit to Chengdu!

Every single staff member at this hotel went above and beyond to provide the best service! To be honest, when I saw a hotel near Kuanzhai Alley, I thought it would just be so-so. But I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and ambiance; it truly felt like a hidden gem – a 'great hermit in the bustling world.' The room was very clean, and breakfast was exquisite, with fresh rice noodles and regular noodles delivered daily! Exceeded expectations, exceeded expectations, exceeded expectations! I'll definitely be back, I'll definitely be back, I'll definitely be back! (Important things said three times!!!) The kids had a wonderful stay! We loved every single staff member! 💋

This hotel is truly a hidden gem and a delightful surprise! It boasts an excellent design, perfectly balanced with just the right touches and elegant minimalism. I booked a family suite, and the kids' room was fantastic. The master bedroom even had an entryway and a living room feel, making it seem more like an apartment. The public areas are outstanding; both the first-floor courtyard and the second-floor terrace are quite unique. The service, however, was a bit lacking. I booked for two nights, but my key card stopped working on the second day. Even after the front desk reset it, it still didn't work, requiring me to go to the front desk multiple times to get it sorted manually. Many foreigners stay here, so I assume its reputation on international booking sites is better than domestically. If they could improve their service by learning from excellent domestic hotel groups like Huazhu or Atour, its future prospects would be even brighter.

The hotel's decor and style are absolutely top-notch. From the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, every single employee was warm and polite. What impressed me most was a young lady with glasses at the front desk; she always greeted me with a smile. The room was spotlessly clean too. The complimentary afternoon tea every day was a thoughtful touch, and the free luggage delivery service within the city was a lifesaver for anyone traveling with suitcases! The only minor drawback was the lack of hooks in the shower, which made it a bit inconvenient to hang clothes when traveling with a child. I'd recommend bringing your own hooks if you're on a family trip. Also, the air conditioning in the room tended to blow directly on your head, but thankfully I brought a small tent for this trip which came in handy! Despite these minor points, I really love this place!

Staying at Chuanxing Yinli on a rainy day was a truly special experience. The sound of rain falling in the courtyard made it incredibly peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the surroundings were elegant, offering a quiet retreat in the midst of the city. It's very close to Kuanzhai Alley, making sightseeing super convenient. The service was thoughtful and meticulous. Staying here on a rainy day felt so relaxing and therapeutic. I really love this hotel.
