RETURN Courtyard Hotel Reviews

We originally booked a big brand hotel, but the moment we saw photos of Return Courtyard, we switched immediately & we’re so glad we did! The hotel absolutely did not disappoint. We stayed in a beautiful tatami-style room that comfortably fit four of us. The beds were cozy, and the bathroom was modern and spotless (yes it even has a bidet!). The real highlight? Breakfast. Delivered right to your room at your preferred time, and honestly, it lives up to the hype! Delicious and thoughtfully presented. The staff were another standout. Super friendly and always quick to respond: they even add you on WeChat to make communication easy. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just minutes from the vibrant Chunxi Road, with a Lawson right across the street and tons of great food spots all around. It’s a cozy, charming stay that makes you feel at home. Highly recommend and would 100% return!

I had a fantastic stay at Return Courtyard Hotel! The service was truly top-notch — every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The hotel design is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful touches that create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. Superb! Service, design, breakfast is amazing. Our room require stairs, hotel carried our luggage up and down. Everything about our stay is PERFECT, just towels are super thin and disposable kind. A challenge for long and thick hair after shower.

Beautiful property, most attentive and eager hospitality I’ve received at a hotel.

The hotel is located closed to the shopping district, Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. Walkable distance. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially Co Co. Room is spacious for 4 and clean. I love the tea area, can enjoy hot brewed tea and snacks we bought. Another thing I love about the hotel is that breakfast is served to your room at your preferred timing. It was a sumptuous breakfast I had during the trip. Will be back again!

Superb location ie within walking distance to Chunxi Lu. Room is new and as illustrated. Breakfast is sumptuous and with room service provided. Maybe noisy over the weekend from the pub next door. Nonetheless, highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay, a place you can call it a home (RETURN), i am not exaggerating. From the look and feel of building to how well the room is design(aesthetically while keeping the room functional). Most importantly, the team members made it feel like a home. Getting parcel delivered to RETURN not a problem, getting food delivered to RETURN not a problem. They will send it to your room personally within their best capabilities. The hotel staff will made sure you get the best stay experience ever. Not forgetting about their wonderful breakfast, They didn’t mentioned anything about personal butler but we feel that we have one for the entire stay. We celebrate my wife birthday with the team over there as well (we took photos with team member)! We love this place so much that we considering going back Chengdu again just to revisit this place. Special thanks to 皮皮 who we liaise the most during our stay, of course not forgetting the friendly concierge, lovely housekeeping team and 2 other butlers(thats what they call themself instead of the usual front office or receptionist).

A series of beautiful rooms set in a tea house open to the public. Some rooms have private outdoor seating areas which is a rare find. On a street that comes to life in the evenings. I had two great nights towards the back of the property but moved to a room at the front for my third. The noise spill from the bar below was too much for me. If noise does not bother you and you are looking for something unique with lovely staff, this could be the place for you. I'd def recommend rooms away from the street. Lovely hotpot in the restaurant on ground floor.

Really enjoyed our stay at RETURN Courtyard! The staff were super friendly, the room was very spacious and clean, the location was convenient and the facilities provided were really comprehensive, including mosquito repellant, paid subscription for TV / movie platforms, etc. Also provided a massive in-room breakfast for free! I would definitely stay here again when I come back!

Absolutely stunning rooms. I booked the Qian Chun and Liuxi rooms for 3 nights of stay. The rooms are very beautifully decorated and clean. Staff were all very friendly and responsive to queries or requests. Breakfast is served to the room between 7.30am to 11.30am. I enjoyed all 3 days of breakfast. Hotel is pretty close to 春熙路 with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. A bar has opened just 2-3 days ago beside the hotel. Nice place to chill. One minus point would probably be the lack of laundry service in the hotel but there is a laundromat 300m from the hotel. All in all, will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Chengdu. 我和家人在“浅春”和“柳溪”房住了三晚。两间房都布置得非常优美，舒适，干净。早餐是直接送到房间，好吃又管饱。值得一提的是管家和其他员工都非常友善，乐于助人。若有机会再来成都，这酒店一定会是我的首选！

I've recently travelled with my wife to Chengdu and chose the Return Courtyard Hotel. It's centrally located in the downtown, which was renovated from the ancient residence with the modern style, so it's very unique. And Ms Zhang was hospitable providing good customer services to us.
