Rayfont Hotel Chengdu

Standard business hotel. Best part of it is that it is directly connected via an underpass to the metro and high speed rail station. However, this underpass is not open in the early morning, so if you have an early gaotie to catch, you need to exit by level 1.

Excellent located if you want to travel with high speed train. There is reliable and free luggage storage service for the hotel customers. The rooms and setup need to be renovated.

Honestly, the gym was extremely disgusting. I didn't take a picture of it but there was literally something that looked like spit in between the different weights on one of the machines. Also, the rowing machine basically broke after one row. The location is very hard to find because the hotel is a part of a Rayfont group situation so there is an apartment hotel complex in the same spot and a bunch of other hotels. The room was also quite dirty and not all of the rooms have windows that open, making the room very hot. I had to ask to switch rooms. The bathroom was quite gross. you can see there is something wrong with the mirror and even the tray with toiletries had weird dust and particles inside. The toilet even had a stain already on it when I opened it, having just arrived. Clearly, the hotel has put all of their efforts into making a great lobby but the room is very run-down.

Convenient location next to Chengdu East train station.

Cosy,,, the location is close to east railway station and the subway so convenient if you need to take train or metro.
