Ba Ba Guest House

The host June was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were small but sufficient. The size of the two twin bed room was good but the bathroom is very small. The shower is good. The beds were comfortable. There is a closet and pull out wire baskets that were very useful. June was very accommodating by leaving the heat on during the day when one guest did not feel well. The Guest House is within a short walking distance of many good restaurants and there is good bus service on the street in front of the Guest House.

Back from a wonderful stay in this lovely old Victorian Town house converted into a beautiful B &B in Hoole which is literally just outside of the city center The owners were amazing ,they run a wonderful place ,very friendly,amazing breakfast,clean spacious room Very knowledgeable of Hoole and chester Gave us plenty of recommendations which were spot. We will definitely be back

We stayed overnight whilst visiting family in Chester. So glad that we chose Ba Ba Guesthouse as it was perfect for our stay. Everything was as as advertised and was just great. June was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was fabulous. We walked into Chester and found the location very convenient. We would certainly recommend this lovely guesthouse.

Had a great stay at Ba Ba guest house. June was very friendly and was very helpful with recommendations for eating out in the local area. The room was spotless and well equipt. We stayed for my partners 50th birthday weekend and June was more than happy to go into town and get balloons and banners and decorate the room for a suprise and also provide an ice bucket and glasses for our champagne. The breakfast was lovely and both hosts were very attentive and were happy to any requests, extra toast etc. Would definatley stay here again.

Superb B&B with incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. Property is Victorian style with beautiful features. Very clean and well presented room. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Will certainly go back next time I need to stay over in the area.

We’ve had a lovely two might stay at this B&B. Room 5 is at the top, a large room with a very comfy king size bed. Everything you need is here, including a good hairdryer and toiletries in the en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is superb. A good array of cereals, fruit and yogurts, snd a fabulous full English. The owners are very accommodating. Parking to the rear and it’s only a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Highly recommended.

The car park has 5 spaces for 7 rooms. Then you’re expected to leave your car keys because it’s so small that you get boxed in, NO I don’t think so. Why did nobody point this out? Our room had not been serviced properly. The tea tray had 3 teabags, 1 decaf coffee & the rest were regular coffees. Doesn’t add up. Worse than that though the small chest of drawers still had the previous guests underwear, socks & dirty handkerchief in it. No excuses for such low standards & no real apology either. The landlord assumes everyone wants cooked breakfast. We were not greeted with “good morning, did you sleep well?” We were greeted with “2 cooked breakfasts!” No ! If you do want the cooked breakfast make sure you tell the landlord how you want your eggs before he scurries off because he automatically fries them & never asks how you want them. First B&B I’ve stayed in where I’m not asked. Also, one bottle of sauce to go around all the tables, but if you ask they’ll bring another one out. Why? Just weird. Finally as we were leaving, the landlady said “next time you come phone us direct & we’ll give you a better price”. Really? We booked direct on her website, not through a booking agent so I’d like to see how that would work. She also presumed that we would return without asking if we’d enjoyed our stay. Yes we will be returning to Chester for the races, as we told her, but NO ! not to her B&B

This was an A stay! June is so lovely, helpful and cooks a great breakfast! The entire place was clean, welcoming and delightful. My room was clean, super cute and functional too! The neighborhood was safe to walk in as a single female with restaurants just around the corner. Overall, an excellent experience and I would love to return! Thanks June for everything!

An excellent guest house. situated in a very nice neighbourhood that was just a short walk into the centre of Chester. The breakfast was really tasty and the room spotless. We had a lovely stay.
