I didn’t take any pictures, so I’ll take pictures using words.
The four main streets in both directions of the square Chiang Mai ancient city are divided into nine parts. The hotel is located in the southwest area of the city. There is a small shop for renting motorcycles opposite the hotel. The deposit is 3,000 and the rent is 250 baht per day. The service attitude at the front desk is quite good.
The hotel itself does not provide food, and it is not too close to the surrounding night market, but it will be very convenient if you have a motorcycle.
The best feature of the hotel is the decoration. The room is not a typical European and American resort, but is decorated with heavy wood in the traditional Southeast Asian style. The hotel does not have an elevator, but the front desk will help carry your luggage upstairs. There are some artistic Thai traditional wood carvings and religious ornaments displayed in the corridor. I don’t know if it will be a film or not, but I still have a feeling about it. If you like Thai traditional art or Lanna art style, you can try staying in this hotel for one night to experience the feeling of being a Thai noble.
The bathtub in the bathtub room is so large that it can accommodate two people at a time.

Ok, so first the good stuff. The hotel is pretty clean, beds comfortable and good coffee in the bar area. Sadly the bad outweighs the good. Whilst they do have signs warning you of low stairways - these are only visible on the way down and easily forgotten when you return from exploring Chiangmai. I hurt myself quite seriously on 2 occasions forgetting when you step up to bow your head... and I am talking ridiculously LOW here! Our room had a tiny frosted glass window through which some light might get in in the morning. If you have ever travelled in the inside cabin on a cruise ship ... expect the same boxed in feeling at Namton Boutique Hotel. My sister, who stayed 2 nights at the hotel with us, had to ask to be moved due to massive noise coming from the staff/kitchen area. We also were bothered a lot by noise from what sounded like partially blocked shower drains in rooms next to us. Wifi was ok, lagged occasionally. Staff were ok, but seldom greeted you. For what we paid and where it's located, I am not unhappy, but you can do better!
