I loved the ambiance. The guesthouse is more than 130 years old the age really shows but you can definitely see the effort of preserving history and embracing modernity. If you plan to stay here for more than a night or two I would suggest you book the private room. Also, bring lots of insect repellent!

Simple shared room. But was clean and nice. Nice terrace at the river and super friendly stuff. If you have a scooter it’s easy to come into the center / old quater

Well kept traditional northern Thai style house. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a shame that the bathroom had lots of fresh cockroach droppings every time I went in

Because I was traveling alone, I chose a guesthouse with complete facilities. This is my second time staying at a guesthouse. Part of the place has been renovated compared to last year. It feels cleaner and more comfortable, and it is cost-effective.
