Absolutely outstanding Rio Sagrado Hotel and service. The staff were all so friendly and polite. Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Set in beautiful grounds surrounded by the sacred valley, alpacas and scenery. Perfect place to stay to get the Hiram Bingham train for Machu Pichu. Definitely recommend this hotel . Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Totally spoilt here. Spa treatments were lovely . We did the picnic experience-total feast on local produce. Recommend staying here to do the Belmond Hiram Bingham train .

We had the most incredible trip to Rio Sagrado. They are truly taking fine hospitality to a new level - the care and detail they put in to making their guests feel cared for is unmatched. And the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's proximity to so many interesting, beautiful places coupled with their incredible Hospitality makes it the perfect place to relax and explore.

Just had lunch in the beautiful grounds of this hotel. Sadly not staying here, but the food was exceptional, the staff attentive and the shared areas all stunning. As a break from a busy day touring it was perfect. Lovely pool and gardens and v original welcome.

We stayed at Rio SAGRADO several nights. Would like to tell Thanks a lot to the hotel staff which was very nice and friendly to us and our kids! They made our stay! Hotel is very nicely located next to the beautiful river and mountains. Has and amazing garden with beautiful baby lamas walking around. Just a heaven in the mountains. The only problem from our point of view is that the rooms are a bit “tired” and could be renovated. All the rest is really great

Spectacular view of the river, birds singing every morning and evening. Excellent food and selection, espresso made on an outside fire! Great room and bathroom. Staff is extremely attentive and accommodating. Baby alpaca feeding is a pure delight - just wish some younger guests would not chase them for pictures. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking being immersed in nature and feeling like you're staying in a large private estate. SO calming and soothing of an environment, if you want to recharge and disconnect from the world this is THE place!

We had a fantastic trip at Rio Sagrado. We arrived after three days in Cusco and definitely were ready for some relaxing. The feeling you get when you arrive to the property is unlike anything else. It is insanely tranquil and peaceful. The hotel has so many options in terms of amenities. The pool is heated and was wonderful even though it’s technically winter season there, it was definitely warm enough to enjoy ! The sun is strong. Our room also overlooked the river and included yoga mats. The service as always at Belmonds was impeccable. I loved the breakfast as well. The hotel was really willing to go above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. Thank you especially Dany at the restaurant and Corina our amazing tour guide who took us to Maras, Moray and ollytanmbo and a wonderful private picnic over a lake! Oh one more thing! The feeding the baby alpacas on property everyday is SO cool! I highly recommend this property.

We stayed at several Belmond properties during our Peru trip, and Rio Sagrado was the standout. From the peaceful riverside setting to the exceptional staff, this stay felt both luxurious and personal in every way. They arranged our private transfers, a day exploring Pisac and Ollantaytambo with one of our favorite guides (Joseph), and a special cycle and hike to Maras via a quiet back route—far from the crowds. Our main contact, Maribel, was wonderful to work with and made everything feel seamless. Other thoughtful touches: a private movie night with our requested film, dinner, and Chandon Rosé; a deeply relaxing Andean massage followed by essential oil gifts; and a beautiful farewell gift—handwoven luggage tags embroidered with our names. Every detail—our room, the food, the spa, the staff—was excellent. Truly the most memorable hotel experience of our entire trip.
