It turned out to be the best decision of our trip. **Highlights:** The Team: The owner, Marcel, and the caretaker, Nora, are wonderful people. Marcel speaks great English and is incredibly helpful. Plus, their dog Tatang is a total sweetheart! Digital Nomad Paradise: The entire hotel feels like a giant, comfortable workspace. It’s perfect if you need to get things done while enjoying nature. Location & Comfort: It’s centrally located but feels like living in a private "garden home." It has everything you could possibly need. We truly felt like we were leaving family behind when we checked out. We will definitely be back!"

"Honestly of all the hotels we used for our travels across Peru this was by far the worst. We were given a twin room on the ground floor. Facilities are very basic which would be ok, but firstly the smell of damp knocks you out on entering the room. Everything is cold (the window doesn’t shut properly) so not only cold and damp, but super noisy due to the ferocious river just outside. Even the toilet roll was damp to touch. The bed was clean, but the sheet didn’t fit properly and actually came off the mattress (which is just gross) while sleeping. I had to sleep fully clothed. Breakfast was very basic. Absolutely would not recommend."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel has an excellent location, making it convenient for getting around. It's about a 5-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and other tourist attractions, and the sunset view from the rooftop is beautiful. The room was clean and tidy, comfortably laid out, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The staff were friendly and patient. While there are a few minor details that could be improved, they don't detract from the overall experience at all. It's great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip. Highly recommended."
