Chable Yucatan

We had a really lovely two-week stay here in Villa 39. The property is absolutely gorgeous and it was so nice to have the bikes to just bike to the pool and breakfast. This is one of the best spas I have ever been to, I had to go back twice. The architecture, the service, the amenities, it was all just done beautifully. It is really expensive! Much closer to European vacation prices than local prices. e.g. $4,000 per night for the room, $500 for a massage, $25 for avocado toast. I hope they pay their staff well!

Fabulous setting and stunning rooms. Huge bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers and very comfy, cosy bedroom suite. Great attention to detail. Meals in Ixma were delicious and the staff wonderful and welcoming. We had fun playing golf on the micro ‘wellness’ golf course which was in impeccable condition. Spa was out of this world! Superb swimming pool.

We are writing to express our deep dissatisfaction with our experience today 18th February at Chablé Resort & Spa in Yucatán, Mexico. Despite our anticipation of a relaxing and luxurious stay, we were unfortunately met with a series of issues that significantly impacted our experience. As two couples, we have come together to collectively formulate this complaint to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our experiences and to seek a satisfactory resolution that addresses all parties involved. First and foremost, we would like to highlight that we had to wait for more THAN 3 HOURS TO RECEIVE OUR ROOMS, upon arrival. This delay was extremely frustrating and unacceptable, particularly after a long journey. Furthermore, we had booked massages at the resort's spa TWO MONTHS in advance, yet upon our arrival, we were informed that no appointments were available. This was highly disappointing and did not meet our expectations of the resort's service and organization. In addition, we had ordered champagne for our group, and after one hour, it had still not been delivered to our room. When we raised this issue with the manager, Karla, she did not offer us a solution. She refused to bring us champagne or provide any alternative resolution. Moreover, we would like to inform you that if our concerns are not addressed satisfactorily, we intend to escalate this matter to PROFECO (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor), as we believe it is our right as consumers to receive the services we have paid for in a satisfactory manner. Additionally, we are DISAPPONTING MANAGEMENTs overall response to our complaints. Despite our efforts to find satisfactory solutions, no alternative arrangements or compensation were offered to us. As paying guests who rely on high-quality service and hospitality, we expect our concerns to be taken seriously and addressed accordingly. Therefore, we urge you to carefully consider our complaint and provide a satisfactory solution to compensate for the inconveniences we experienced during our stay at Chablé Resort & Spa. Moreover, instead of the relaxation we had hoped for, our experience at Chablé Resort & Spa resulted in nothing but a terrible headache. The combination of the delayed check-in, unfulfilled spa bookings, and lack of service regarding our champagne order only added to our frustration and disappointment. We are ready to provide further information and hope for a satisfactory resolution.

We have been here for three hours and we are having one of the worst experiences. I received a room in which the heating does not work, the coffee machine, the bedroom door to the terrace does not close well, leaving a space through which insects can enter. Two months before arrival I asked to book the treatment at the spa and now there is no booking and no compensation. I asked to speak with the manager who after coming to the room and asking to solve or compensate the inconveniences told me that he does not see a reason. when I wanted to raise the temperature in the rooms, I was told that it does not work with the existing installation and that they would send radiators. the radiator that was brought by an employee who only spoke Spanish was for a maximum of 20 m2... the apartment having 360 m2. The management did not react and did not solve the problems...unacceptable service for the prices provided. What a worst experience...2 star service at most.

A beautiful experience, rooms were gorgeous, massive & very comfortable. Food excellent but an option for half board would be a good idea as there are no restaurants nearby. Massage was excellent, golf course a bit of a joke ! Staff superb . Great architecture incorporating the old buildings . Decor fabulous

Outstanding hotel in the middle of the jungle with all the amenities while maintaining and preserving nature. The food of the restaurant was superb. Great selection of wine and tequila. The spa is functional with great views of the cenote while you are at spa and or the pool

A stunningly beautiful property . One of the 50 best hotels in the world : NO! NO! NO! No manager for 4 months and it shows. One disaster after another from arrival to departure. A hotel is as good as its manager . We leave upset , frustrated,stressed.

This place is extremely expensive and if you think about the discrepancy between what you are paying versus the average cost of living in the region it will shock you. Having said that, we had an amazing family vacation. The villas are exquisite, and the availability of biking trails throughout the property, coupled with the shady bike paths, made it really fun for my family of 4 (including 2 teens). We stayed 2 nights in a family villa. The highlights: - Each guest has their own bike, customized to his/her height (they send you a survey beforehand), parked at the villa and ready to go - The resort wasn't very full when we went even though it was the week before Christmas, which was nice as we never had to wait at restaurants, at the pool, for the padel court, etc. though it would have been nice if it was a bit livelier - The staff was usually very friendly, though maybe not operating at an international level of polish that one might find at a Four Seasons (though this resort is pricier than many Four Seasons we've stayed in!) - The nicer restaurant Ixim is truly unique and delicious, though again, extremely expensive even compared to the fine dining restaurants in Merida What can be improved: - Other than at Ixim, the food served at breakfast and at the casual restaurant by the pool was underwhelming, and I found myself thinking even a mid-tier resort in Cabo like the Hyatt has better food - The padel court was deserted and not very well-kept, it seemed like the staff wasn't really focused on customer service, so whenever we went it felt more like going to a friend's panel court than a resort court with service (someone to handle beverages, towels, etc). We couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights and there was no way of getting a staff member there other than to bike back to the main reception area - The spa was fine, with a cool "Mayan ceremony," but at almost $1000 for my service I was surprised that the steam room was out of service and the hot tub had floating leaves and bugs in it - The Cacao ceremony experience at almost $400 for 3 people was interesting, but the explanation was only in Spanish so my teens had to translate using their high-school Spanish. This was not clearly indicated when we booked the experience, so we felt like we missed out on a lot of information. It was mainly watching her make the chocolate with limited participation. Overall, we had a wonderful time because of the gorgeous villa, the excellent communication with the villa staff over WhatsApp, and we made the most of the bikes and padel court. Two nights felt like it was enough, we would have been bored at three nights, especially with the lackluster food.

The rooms surrounded by jungle are really beautiful and well designed for guest comfort. The resort is very peaceful and well maintained. Both restaurants are excellent and the service very friendly and professional.
