I had originally planned to return to Luzhou two days ago. However, high-speed train tickets were either too expensive or sold out, so I ended up staying in Chongqing for another two days. Luckily, I managed to book a spot at what turned out to be the best youth hostel in Lianglukou.
The room environment was excellent, and it even had a private bathroom with the shower and toilet separated. The hostel also offered a great communal lounge where guests could watch TV together, sing, and there were laundry facilities and a designated smoking area.
What truly made this place stand out was the owner's fantastic service attitude and their honesty and trustworthiness. Every time I messaged them on WeChat with a query or request, they responded immediately. This is hands down the best youth hostel I've stayed at in Chongqing. If I get the chance to visit Chongqing again, I'll definitely be booking a bed here once more.

The drying racks in the laundry room were covered in cobwebs! Ventilation in the room wasn't ideal; with no windows, we had to rely on the fresh air unit. However, it was very affordable, and the front desk had so many cats – absolutely adorable! Plus, there was absolutely no noise while sleeping, which made for a very comfortable rest.

Awful experience, I have no idea how this hostel can have that rating.
-My room smelled like piss and mold. Wall right next to my bed was moldy as.
-A guy was playing on his laptop when I arrived and kept playing half through the night until he got tired, went to bed and started watching videos at high volume.
-The receptionist who was singing very loudly came into the bedroom's toilet (why would you put a shared toilet into a shared dorm room???) and took a ****.
-My locker wouldn't unlock with the key and the receptionist just told me to leave the bags near my bed.

Excellent place to stay in Chongqing. Only a few steps away from Lianglukou metro station, so very convenient to move around. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There are washing machines and a dryer machine to do the laundry, which were very convenient to use and pay with the phone. Definitely staying here again next time!

The room had no windows, but literally everything else was perfect. You have a view, Playstation in the living area and sweet cats to hang out with.

The place is so nice, convenient and close to metro which is very good for traveling. Walk only ~100 to metro. Have food shop nearby. Really worth to stay! The 老板 was so nice also.
