Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Hotels

I had an amazing overnight stay at Novotel for a flight transfer. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the airport pickup service was incredibly convenient. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff, especially Fiona at the front counter. She was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding service. She is a real asset to your team. I will definitely choose Novotel for my future transfers.

Next time I visit Chongqing, it will definitely be because of THIS hotel! ❤️ My last business trip to Chongqing was so rushed, I only stayed one night before leaving, but this time it was absolutely worth it! I chose a riverside hotel, and the ambiance, design, and service here are truly top-notch. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows with the blue-hued night view 🌃 are simply stunning. It's also conveniently located near many attractions like Hongya Cave, Jiangtan Park, Chaotianmen, Raffles City, Jiefangbei, and Guanyinqiao! The location is fantastic, and public transport is super convenient 👍. The hotel rooms are spacious, roomy, and very clean and hygienic. I especially loved the lounge area on the 20th floor; it's incredibly well-designed and perfect for photos. For us girls who love taking pictures, I could easily change into three different outfits just within the hotel and keep snapping away 📷! I even saw the pool at night and realized you can book a time slot with the front desk to use it. Oh my goodness ‼️ That's so luxurious! I didn't even bring a swimsuit this time 👙 but I couldn't resist ordering one for delivery just for the photos 📷. The breakfast selection is incredibly rich as well. I highly recommend the Chongqing noodles – they're super generous with the toppings and the flavor is amazing ✨. There are also various Western dishes, cold appetizers, drinks, and more, so everyone can choose according to their taste. Chongqing is truly beautiful, and I can't wait to come back next time! 🤩

The lady at the front desk was super nice! 👍 The pictures were pretty accurate to what the place actually looked like. It's really close to the subway station, and there are tons of local hot pot restaurants nearby. Plus, there's a 24-hour convenience store right downstairs, which was super convenient. The room was quite clean and tidy, and there weren't any weird smells, so I was pretty happy with that. I was a bit worried that the loft style might feel a bit cramped, but once I checked in, it didn't feel like that at all. The design is really good. It's also not too far from Guanyin Bridge, Hongya Cave, and Jiefangbei, which was a nice bonus.

We were kindly offered a free room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture. However, we declined because our room had a large bathtub (big enough for two) with a stunning city view, whereas the upgraded rooms had smaller tubs. The rooms are exceptionally beautiful—modern, clean, and stylish. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The only downside is that there’s just one washing machine for the entire hotel, which is a bit limited for a hotel of this size and standard. Overall, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

The workers were really nice and accommodating, however, the first room we had, there were two old blood stains on the bedsheets and the tables were not cleaned as there were noodle soup spilled on it. They then offered us a room change which was really nice. However the new room we got were still not cleaned as there were rubbish on the ground and unflushed toilet (toilet paper and hair). But overall the hotel is in the good location and the staff treat you very nicely. They take care of all your laundries and they have a translator app on their phone if you don’t speak Chinese.

My stay at the Chongqing Ya Mei International Hotel was an absolute delight! First off, the room was incredibly spacious, far exceeding my expectations. Walking in, it felt so open and comfortable, not at all cramped. What impressed me most was how immaculately clean everything was – the floors, the surfaces, the bathroom, absolutely spotless. The attention to detail was superb, making me feel completely at ease. And even after leaving, the cleaning staff would promptly tidy up. Soaking in the bathtub with a hot bath, then putting on a favorite movie – it was pure bliss, instantly washing away all the travel fatigue. And the huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered an amazing view. Lying in bed at night, I could fully take in Chongqing's dazzling nightscape; it was truly luxurious! The location is also unbeatable. It's right next to Guanyinqiao Metro Station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Everywhere was easily accessible. Plus, there's an abundance of amazing food nearby – all sorts of hotpot, snacks, and local specialties. There's so much choice it's almost overwhelming! And when checking out, the front desk lady even gave me some local specialty snacks as a gift. Overall, this was a perfect stay. From the room amenities and cleanliness to the excellent location, everything was flawless. The next time I'm in Chongqing's Guanyinqiao area, I will definitely choose this hotel again! Highly recommend it to everyone.

Choosing this hotel was such a smart decision! The room was cool and comfortable, and the powerful air conditioning meant we weren't bothered by the heat at all. The location is superb, just a 10-minute walk to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel service was very attentive; the front desk staff proactively recommended local delicacies and snacks, and even gave us a small gift. The water temperature in the room was perfect. Chongqing summers are scorching, but this hotel ensured we stayed cool and worry-free. I will definitely stay here again next time!

I was initially a bit concerned about the online ratings. However, given my early morning arrival and not wanting to deal with the hassle of luggage, its location right inside the airport was perfect for a layover. The room was very spacious; we even had two luggage trolleys and it still felt roomy. The bed was very comfortable, the price was very reasonable, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Plus, it was surprisingly quiet.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport; T2 is even nearer, and T3 is just about a ten-minute drive away. They offer a 24-hour airport shuttle service, with many drivers working in shifts and a good fleet of vehicles. The driver who picked me up at night was very friendly; we chatted a bit, and she shared that their manager acknowledges the hotel is older but believes their service truly makes a difference. She seemed genuinely happy throughout, and I felt the same way – I will definitely stay here again. This hotel is excellent. They honestly don't need to call guests asking for good reviews; when a hotel is run with such dedication, guests will surely notice it.

Facilities: On the first day of my stay in the twin room, we encountered an internet issue, possibly for some specific reason. However, the young man at the front desk went above and beyond, constantly trying to help. Even though the problem couldn't be resolved immediately and required a technician the next day, his genuine dedication was truly impressive. Cleanliness: Impeccable. Service: Outstanding! Truly outstanding! It deserves nothing less than a perfect score! 24-hour Concierge Service: Excellent! They were incredibly responsive to every request and always helped resolve any issues promptly. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to the subway station, and the security is top-notch!
