This was my first visit to Chongqing, and I chose WallingHotel. They operate two branches—one at Jiefangbei Hongyadong and another at Binjiang Road. Since we preferred a quieter environment, I opted for the latter, and it turned out to be a satisfying choice. The only minor drawback is that while the train stations are within walking distance, they’re not exactly close. Fortunately, taxis here are inexpensive, so getting around wasn’t an issue. The hotel itself is located inside an office building, with the front desk on Level 4 and the rooms on Levels 15 and 16. The only concern is that access feels a little too open, with minimal security control, as the floors are generally accessible to anyone. That said, I was very pleased with everything else. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, making it a relaxing stay. A huge plus is that they provide washing machines and dryers free of charge—so you don’t need to pack too many clothes. Breakfast is served as a buffet, but what impressed me most was their thoughtful alternative—if you happen to miss it, you can still enjoy a comforting bowl of noodles. I absolutely loved their noodles; they truly capture the authentic, bold flavors of Chongqing’s traditional spicy style. What really stood out, though, was their service. During checkout, I realized I had left my phone cable in the room. To my surprise, the staff proactively contacted me through social media and arranged to have it delivered to my next hotel. That extra effort left me with a lasting, positive impression. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend WallingHotel to everyone visiting Chongqing.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I loved it both times! The room is great, staff is very friendly and helpful, location is great, and breakfast is amazing! I will definitely come back again.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, merely a 3-minute walk from the subway station. Major attractions like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Liziba are all just a couple of subway stops away, making transport incredibly convenient. Plus, the Zhou Residence, a significant 'red education base,' is located right at the hotel's entrance. Despite being an established hotel, its facilities are impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with generously sized bathrooms, ensuring a very comfortable stay. It truly lives up to its five-star rating. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, always ready to assist. The swimming pool is also a highlight; though not large, its water quality is excellent. Breakfast offered a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes, quite substantial and delicious. Definitely a big thumbs-up! Should I return to Zunyi, I would undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

My stay was a pleasant surprise! The room was simple and elegant, spotlessly clean. The shower was incredibly soft and comfortable, washing away any fatigue. We even had a Lefen hairdryer in the room, a true favorite for women. Even better, the mouthwash was half-and-half, showing how well they understand what young people like. The view from the window was stunning, and every photo I took was a hit. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, sending me directions, making the journey from the airport to the hotel a breeze. This stay in Chongqing was truly worth it! Facilities: Super smart, reminiscent of the smart homes in Korean movies. Cleanliness: Needless to say, the bathroom, especially, was spotless. They even provided various small, disposable disinfectant items, a truly thoughtful touch. Environment: The hotel has upgraded its river view and a large, star-shaped terrace. Watching the Chongqing river from there at night was truly dreamy and magnificent. Service: The 24-hour butler service is incredibly thoughtful, available 24/7. They even provide free customized itineraries and travel tips. Awesome! 24-hour butler service: Instant responses, beautiful women, and friendly service. A feast for the eyes and heart.

Right downstairs is the E'ling Erchang Cultural and Creative Park, a filming location for 'I Belonged to You' and the series 'Nanhong'. It's a must-visit for Zhang Jiajia fans – the Erchang is directly accessible and perfectly recreates scenes from 'I Belonged to You'! The hotel itself features an industrial design with thoughtful touches throughout. Surrounded by lush greenery, its rooftop terrace offers breathtaking river views. Moreover, the rooms boast incredibly beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can even enjoy a relaxing bath by the window on the balcony. It truly feels like a secluded paradise, a serene forest retreat nestled within the mountain city of Chongqing.

It was my first time in Chongqing, and after much deliberation, I chose this hotel. I have to say, the hotel clearly shows care and warmth. The friendly front desk lady was attentive and attentive, and the room was incredibly comfortable. It was a truly wonderful experience. Oh, and a stroll along the picturesque Zhongshan Fourth Road is a must. You'll discover that you don't have to go far to visit crowded attractions. I stumbled upon the Treasure Café right before leaving.

Booking this hotel for our trip with friends was absolutely the best decision! We took a taxi from Jiangbei Airport, and with no traffic, it took us about half an hour to get directly to the hotel lobby. After dropping off our luggage, we immediately went out for food. As it was our first time in Chongqing and we weren't sure what to have for lunch, we asked the front desk staff for authentic Chongqing food recommendations. She promptly sent us a long list of food establishments – incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtful! The hotel is very new, with a modern, minimalist style that's popular among young people. It doesn't feel old or outdated at all. The room isn't huge but is well laid out, offering more than enough space for two of us. No breakfast included wasn't an issue for us at all; we simply found a local breakfast spot and sorted it out. The cleaning staff did an excellent job; even the small details were perfectly clean. When we returned tired in the evening, we enjoyed some drinks and played cards with friends in the room, which was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend to young people traveling in groups!

A very good hotel with high cost performance. During the peak tourist season in Chongqing in July and August, the price was relatively moderate. For the first time, the travel expenses exceeded the room fee. It is very close to Eling Station of Metro Line 1, but you need to climb hills or stairs to experience the Xia Tikan culture. The hotel is located right next to Eling Park. Unfortunately, we haven't arranged a time to go around Kansheng Tower. It is not far from Liziba and Eling No. 2 Factory. How to get to Liziba? It is recommended to search for the shortcut from No. 2 Factory to Liziba. It takes 10 minutes, just go through the residential building and go down the stairs. The room has a marble floor, a unique experience, and a fireplace-like decoration. It feels like an old castle room😃. It also has a small balcony, directly overlooking Eling Park, but it is too small, so it can only be used to dry clothes. The room is not too big, it can only be said to be moderate. The bed is comfortable, clean and sanitary. The air conditioning is quite powerful. The TV is also OK. The wifi is quite fast. The facilities in the room are a bit old, but it does not affect the use. The bathroom and the room are separated by a sliding window, which is also quite unique. The bathroom space is relatively cramped, wet and dry are separated, the facilities are complete, the hot water is good, and I don't know why there is only one pair of slippers. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast, but I didn't ask for it this time. There are several small shops on Eling Main Street outside, and they taste pretty good. You can try it. If you check in at the lobby, the plum candy tastes pretty good. The service was good, the cleaning was timely, and the procedures were completed quickly.

The room is very clean and convenient for travel. It is very close to the Three Gorges Museum, the Great Hall, and Liziba. You can see the river view, which is great! Minimalist, modern and calm decor hotel chain. About 5-10mins walk from train station (LiangKouLu) Suggest to take taxi if have luggage. The best part is free laundry facilities. very clean too. The TV have option of purchasing 24/48hrs Movie pass which was a plus for my husband who enjoys the binge movie watching. The room was very spacious and it was quiet due to the triple layer sound proofing glass. Have option to open the window and can hear loud traffic noise.
