The bungalows are beautiful, but the junior suites are haven. The interior is simple but so nice. The pool is genius. Paola and Rafaël are the perfekt hosts. We had a super nice stay, and we definitely recommend this place. We were lucky to try both sort of rooms, and as I said, they are both lovely, but if you can, take the junior suite with a jungleshower experience. Breakfast is also nice

Little gem of a place hidden away at the top of a fairly rough track. Very walkable to sodas and even the supermarket but if you’re staying here you’ve probably got a car anyway. Is exactly how it’s shown on the website. Clean, well managed, secure and private. Bryan organised a tour for us with Ariel to visit the Yorkin community. Highly recommend. It was really informative and very welcoming plus exciting to get there via dug out canoe! Might sound expensive but by the time you leave you realise you would probably have paid more to ensure their BriBri culture survives. The accommodation itself was 100% comfortable and everything had been thought of, including umbrellas for those early morning downpours! The morning alarm from the Howler monkeys was certainly a wake up call but if you’re here for a few days - which you definitely should be - then you get used to all the sounds pretty quickly! Would definitely return if we ever came back.

I really cannot recommend this place enough. I had high expectations after looking it up online, but reality was even better than the instagram pictures I had seen. Paola gave us a warm welcoming upon arrival and helped us get settled. Throughout our stay, communication was excellent and both Raphaël and Paola were very helpful (and super quick to reply on whatsapp)! I have severe food allergies which can cause some worry sometimes, but I felt very safe and well taken care of at Satta lodge. The place is beautiful, discrete, luxurious in a simple way, and unique. A handful bungalows in a beautiful jungle garden makes it ideal for couples. Paola and Raphaël seem to have thought of everything (the flashlight really came in handy when walking the dark path down to the main road at night). I cannot think of anything to improve. Thank you! Pura vida!

This is paradise! Just tucked away from the noice of the town, you will find this little gem! The lodge is very private, with each room being a little cottage in the middle of the jungle! You are surrounded by nature and the beauty of it and you awake to the sounds of birds and monkeys while having breakfast between the trees that hold sloths. The cottages and breakfast place are beautifully decorated with attention to detail and they are perfectly situated within the jungle. The breakfast is just perfection, with a menu of fresh and tasty local food! And Paola and Raphaël are the most helpful and sweet couple! They really made our stay wonderful! Thank you again and we hope to be back soon!

Satta Lodge seemed too good to be true & once we arrived it was even better! Private bungalows in the jungle that are open-aired & netted; listening to the jungle all night and the monkeys in the morning was such a treat. The bungalow was fully equipped with towels, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, a hair dryer, a net around the bed (if needed, we never used), a mini-fridge, and a safe. The lodge was modern & the grounds were well-kept & beautiful. We included breakfast in our stay & it was great! 3 options: ham/cheese/egg, smoothie bowl, or crepes. Coffee/tea, bread, butter/jam, and a mini smoothie were provided with breakfast, as well. The owners & communication before our stay and during was great; they provided recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and things to do. We highly recommend this lodge & can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Satta Lodge and can recommend it 100%. The owners are super helpful and friendly and have created a peaceful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the jungle, but still close to the beautiful beaches around. Great restaurants and the Jaguar Rescue Center are very nearby. The bungalows and common area are new, equipped with everything that you need and super comfy! Breakfast is amazing and xou can choose from three different options, including French Crepes. We were lucky to see Howler Monkeys, Iguanas and frogs on site! We cannot recommend Satta Lodge enough, we will definitely come back!

We loved our stay. The bungalows are beautiful and private, in a forest setting. You can see wildlife and hear howler monkeys in the distance. Raphael and Paola are wonderful hosts, ready with tips for activities and restaurants in the area. The breakfasts were delightful. Highly recommended!

We were so pleased with Satta lodge. If you are looking for a unique accommodation experience, where you can not only see animals, but hear them day and night, this is the place for you. Literally 50% of the entire property is filled with lush vegetation. You will lose count of the amount of different birds you hear throughout your stay. The rooms are so well designed and give you a sense that the room is actually bigger.
The pool was great.
For those who might be hesitant due to the fact that there is no AC- we were EXACTLY the same and trust me. you don´t need it. Due to the amount of vegetation throughout the property and the ceiling fan, we did not feel at any moment the need for an AC.
Last, I would like to say that Raphael and Paola are great hosts and treated obstacles that were out of their control with great professionalism.
You will love your stay here!
