The hotel is located in a mountain forest reserve. It is relatively quiet, and the advantage is that you can have close contact with wild animals. The road you drive in is Shanni Road, which is a bit interesting. It's easy to go in the wrong direction. The room is clean and comfortable. It has a terrace with excellent views of the mountains and the sea. It also has a telescope, which is very nice👍

A wild luxury hotel in the wilderness, about 3 kilometers from the roadside into the depths of the forest, with wilderness all the way, and a gate with a strong sense of form. It feels like an adventure trip, but when you get home, you find that everything is worth it.

First, this is not a resort. It is an unfinished property with no restaurant at the end of a long steep dirt road far from anything. The sleeping units were comfortable and views were spectacular but these don’t make up for the faults. Best to look elsewhere.

Freycinet Resort is a coastal dream come true! The views are breathtaking, and the staff? Top-notch! From cozy rooms to amazinf views. it's a slice of barefoot luxury.. Can't recommend it enough for a perfect getaway! Thank you to Karen and her team, always above and beyond.

The Freycinet Resort was a great experience for us and our best stay in Tasmania. The individual living unit had everything we needed, great comfort and views. The sunrise and animal viewing from the deck was spectacular.
The staff was friendly, delivering popcorn to our room to helping with information at breakfast. The gravel drive and isolation may not be for some but was what we needed.

It has the feel of an 80’s old European ski lodge. No food on site unless you want 2 min noodles and a coke from a vending machine. Not pots or cooking utensils in the kitchen. No effort at all in making the guest comfortable, have stayed in better caravan park cabins. Way too expensive for what it offers.

This was a great place to stay. No restaurant on property, so plan accordingly for dinner, but the studios were really cute and had what you needed. Sunrises were spectacular on the hilltop
