Found the place to be run down, room was not ready to check in, bar was closed, breakfast was over priced for what on offer.

We thought we booked a new hotel we had not seen before in a location we had visited 10 years ago when I couldn't find the old hotel online. Lo and behold when we arrived it was indeed the same hotel operating under a new name. The former Mercure has been fully renovated with an arts theme and under new management. The rooms have been completely updated and renovated. The only thing that remains a work in progress is the lagoon beach area that was presumably destroyed by hurricane(s). Our flight was 6 hours late and we barely arrived before closing. Rudy checked us in without any fuss and BTW he is the resident tech guy who fixed our TV very promptly. Staff are bilingual and very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. It's been our 3rd trip to this hotel and staff have always been great whatever name it operates under

This is a nice quiet hotel & room was clean. This is a nice place if you are looking for a quiet area and have a far as the hotel is located quite far from facilities.
There is only one restaurant at the hotel which open at specific hours however the food isn’t as expected and staff lacks customer service. We were there for dinner on new eve and were very disappointed with the food and service, they don’t know how to talk to customers. People that came after us were getting their food first which shows clearly they have to be more organize. The pool lacks cleanliness as well.

The staff were very friendly, including the owners who are French Canadian who stopped by to say hello. The dining area and bar was a very nice setup next to the beach. Loved it...relaxing. But what I really loved was the peace and quiet also and knowing that outside in either direction can be a party. I recommend using a rental car for this property if you want to go about. One last thing I forgot my headphones ...expensive too...but what heck...its Christmas.

It was OK. Pros: The bathrooms are great. The pool is very nice and very clean. Cons: It is old and has minimal amenities in the rooms. No elevators. No views. No fan! It is on the lagoon side and no beach. Lovely staff except for one miserable restaurant hostess. Restaurant is not open for lunch and it’s a 15 minute walk to anywhere on a road with no sidewalks, though they do offer a shuttle to a lunch place. Wouldn’t stay again.

Nice lodging! Room clean , bed comfortable and the balcony view was lovely. The restaurant on site has limited options but the food is tasty! The chef delivered a tasty meal each time. The staff here is attentive and friendly. There’s a convenience store / gas station nearby to shop for items you need. Renting a car is ideal to explore the island and the hotel makes it easy to do with options on site. Looking forward to returning. Please note there’s a $100 deposit fee that’s refundable. The hotel also offers a ride to the airport for 30 euros and taxi ride for 25 euros.
