Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus Next to Fort Moore

The door lock was jammed, floor was cracked and lifted could fall the bathroom was dirty and there is a bad odor in the room

Great value for the price. We just needed a place to sleep the night before helping our Army son move from Ft. Moore to Texas. Clean room, super comfortable bed, good enough (free) breakfast, great price.

From check-in until check-out, we had trouble with our keys. The front desk would key them for our rooms, but they wouldn't register. We would be locked out of our room randomly and I would have to go back down to the front desk and get them reset. This happened several times. Housekeeping did not come through our room, so I had to empty trash and visit the front desk for additional towels. Minor inconvenience. The lock on my room's bathroom was not functional. This would not have been a big issue had I been alone. However, I was traveling with my daughter and we had to make sure that the other person knew that we would be using the restroom to avoid awkward situations. Upon returning one night, we went to our room and, as previously mentioned, our keys wouldn't work. When I went down to the front desk, a sign was placed that said that the attendant would return in 5 minutes. The back office door was open and shortly after I arrived a phone call (speaker phone) began. The attendant spoke with a man about plans involving alcohol and sexual activity loud enough to be heard at the front desk. I honestly don't care what people do or talk about on their breaks, but I thought it was unprofessional to have the door open and be on speaker phone where the lobby could hear the personal details of the call. Overall, the stay was disappointing. When I visit Columbus again, I'll be staying elsewhere.

I liked my stay. It was clean, convenient location for my reason of staying in Columbus. The staff was nice as well.

First, the desk clerk had trouble finding my reservation. She put me in another room similar to what I reserved, and I had to pay again. Before I could get settled in the room, she informed me that she had found my original reservation, and I had to move out of the room I had just paid for. Upon moving to the room reserved for me, I discovered that the room needed attention. The floor tiles obviously needed repair, one of the nightstand lamps did not work, and it was too hot. The first room was much nicer.

Good deal for a great price. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee and much more! The room was basic but comfortable. My wife did say that it wasn’t the cleanest room that we have ever had.

The hotel its self was clean and the employees were nice. However, at 4:00 am our second night there we had a random man just bust into our bedroom (scared us so badly). I went and told the front desk and the response I got was, “I’m sorry, that shouldn’t have happened. Someone must have asked for a room key and we gave them one to yours. Usually we ask for ID so we know they are on the room they are requesting the key for.” So they don’t take safety precautions at all and will let anyone into your room.

Absolutely filthy rooms. Seems like the hotel is used more for younger people partying than anything else. Do not recommend at all.

Property was clean and comfortable. Front desk ladies were always super nice. I understand it was under construction. Hoping they plan to fill the holes in the walls and paint off the floor before they are finished. Lady who works the breakfast area was a GROUCH. Both mornings we were there she griped at the guests for trash the threw away or not using tongs, etc.
