I love the hostel vibes. many activities to do here. the dome has its own bathroom, but i had to stay with 3 unknow males. so i wasn't feel comfortable to use bathroom in the room. I always used shared bathroom. Hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. The bed doesn't have the curtain. So I feel less private. When the room light was turn off, i turn on the light in my own bed. But my light disturb a guy on next bed then he told me to turn off 🥹.

The level 1 common toilet had pee smell, pretty nasty.. the noise at night is very noisy and when people run across the hallway at night, can be heard clearly. Not very noise proof.
but other than that, its a good location, Nyhavn & the shopping street is very nearby!
Would recommend to stay here!

The hotel is in a great location, and is very close to many shops and restaurants. Waterfront is just 15 minute walk.
My main issue is just how small the bed is in the standard room - they don't have twin room options so sharing with my mother I found the bed to very small. The room wasn't cleaned at any point during the stay. The breakfast was expensive in my opinion, better to go round the corner and go to one of the many coffee shops or cafes. In a city which is so expensive to book a hotel room I guess it sells itself as a budget friendly option, but I wasn't overly impressed.

Good place to stay, and easy to check in and out.
We booked a 1 bedroom for 3 persons. The sofa bed is ready setup when arrived😄.
However, only one person needs to sleep in the sofa bed but it’s size is almost occupied half the living room and probably can sleep 3 persons😂 so left little space in the living room for use.

Being with two in the room, there isn’t much privacy you get for the bathroom. It is surrounded by milk glass and a sliding door which can’t be locked.

My husband take this Apartment on my vacation for one week in the centre of Copenhagen, i really love the place where we can feel your own home because inside you will get whatever you want everything every amenities,If you are keen to cook even u can do by yourself really seems everything shine and tidy feels very especial during my stay even the staff are very kind thanks all of the team for providing such hospitalitly🙏

Great location - very close to centre of the city and food market. Staff is really helpful. There is also good lobby and bar inside the hotel. The size of standard rooms is really small so it will be inconvenient for tourist with a lot of suitcases)

There's bus number 26 right downstairs from the hotel. During my three-day stay, I used this bus number as my transfer point for almost every trip. It was incredibly convenient!
On my first day, I planned to take the Metro at the airport, but wasn't sure which option would be best, so I bought a 48-hour City Pass at the airport ticket machine. I arrived at the Bethel Hotel around 3:00 PM on my first day. Because the check-in floor was upstairs, I couldn't figure out how to get to the elevator. The only female staff member at the counter that day was unfriendly. She stared at me for 30 seconds before she finally stood up to talk. She gave me a stern look and a very rude attitude. Other than her, the other staff were generally friendly. Also, the male staff member who was always there in the evenings asked me how to get to waterbuses 991 and 992. The location was completely wrong; the bus stop was just a little further down the road. It was incredibly unprofessional! Furthermore, the housekeeping staff, a petite, dark-skinned woman, knocked on the door without saying anything, which was very rude. No conversation was exchanged. When I opened the door, she rudely told me she needed to clean the room! Is it her job to announce check-out time? Did they go above and beyond? I think staff training needs to be improved! If I wasn't unfamiliar with the surroundings and booked based on reviews, I probably wouldn't stay here again! P.S. There aren't even any photos. I really don't like this hotel. 😏

GGuest UserIt wasn't my first time in Copenhagen but I'm sure that if I will come back again Phoenix Copenhagen will be my hotel. Excellent position in the heart of the city, really close to all the main attractions and metro. The hotel its huge, very clean, the staff super friendly and gentle. In the room the coffee it's free and there is a mini bar that's ok. Really recommended.

GGuest UserWhen staying here, you really shouldn't compare the hotel's amenities or service to what you'd expect back home, especially since labor costs here are among the highest. That said, the hotel's location is fantastic – it's super convenient to get everywhere. We spent two days exploring the area and managed to walk to all our destinations.

BBranimirPLocation great, clean, kind stuff, great breakfast, everything was nice. Room was in a minimalistic Scandinavian style and had enough space for three of us and luggage. Gym and kids play ground are in the hotel. Luggage lockers are near kids play ground so you can leave your luggage 10/15 DKR per hour. On railway station price is 100 DKR for 24 hours only.

GGuest UserThe location of the apartment is very good, one step away from King's Square. The layout of the room is very suitable for family travel. Easy to stay.
But the old-fashioned apartment has no elevator, the spiral staircase is very narrow, and it is difficult to bring a suitcase to the fourth floor. The old-fashioned windows are poorly soundproofed and the downtown area is very noisy, especially at night. There are no curtains in the bathroom, which is very embarrassing.
The overall living feeling is not good.

GGuest UserThe lobby bar is gone and we were directed to noisy bars across the street for a nightcap. Bar/café and restaurant in hotel are privately run and have nothing to offer hotel guests. Mostly used for private parties.
Room on 3rd floor has view over Radhuspladsen and small balcony which is nice. Room has lots of space but is sparsely furnished with lousy furniture. Gloomy.
We were not informed we had to order room service so room had not been services when we came back in on day two. We stayed four nights and had one room service.
The Palace Hotel used to be our favorite in Copenhagen but we will not be staying again. Sorry!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. One block from Tivoli Gardens and the train station and across the road from the bus stop to the airport.
Its a budget hotel, and as the name suggests, the rooms are like cabins on a ship, they're small. We took a bunk room which meant we had more floor space than a regular twin room.
The shower room is also compact, it's a wet room with a curtain inside, much like a ships cabin or a motor home. There was a squeegee provided for wiping the floor after a shower to reduce the risk of slipping.
Towels are provided in the room and if you want them replaced, just pick up new ones at the reception desk. Same goes for coffee, tea, sugar, creamer sachets, and cups. These are provided in the room as is a kettle, but you'll need to replenish if you're there more than one night.
The Downside was that there was no air-conditioning. It was warm when we stayed in July so we slept with the window wide open. We didn't notice insects and the noise from Tivoli and the church bells stops at 11pm so it wasn't especially noisy through the night. If you were travelling with younger children and preferred not to have the windows open wide, I think you could ask reception for a fan.
We borrowed a hairdryer from reception for the duration of our stay. There was no extra charge for this. Reception also sold hot and cold drinks and sandwiches. The staff were very helpful.
There was an outside seating area but it was very basic and mostly used by smokers. The lounge was a good size with both tables & chairs and sofas & coffee tables. It was a very short walk to the waterside area or the beautiful Glyptotek Gardens if you were looking for an outside seat and some peace.
We didn't take breakfast but you don't need to book before you stay. Just let reception know by 10pm the day before and you can have breakfast the following morning.
Room cleaning is not provided as standard but again, just arrange it with reception before 10pm the night before.
In summary, it's basic and it's small, a bit more like a hostel than a hotel. However, for the location, it's very competitively priced and I'd stay again.
