I stayed in the Recoleta hostel during my week in Cusco. It has been the best choise I made. This hostel is beautiful and well located in terms of proximity from the city centre. Javier and his son Marcelo are fantastic people and helpful. With their help I could be able to organize my Salkantay trek of 5 days perfectly. Upon my return from the trek I was able to rest properly in the tranquility of the hostel. I definitely recommend staying in their place! :)

Clean, organised and friendly. Just a small walk into the centre of Cusco. I stayed here three times during my visit to Peru and would happily return. I did the Salkantay trek and they looked after my luggage for five days. I would recommend staying here.

We stayed 1 night here after hiking the inca trail. The price was very reasonable and we were able to get private bathrooms which was a huge plus. The wifi didn’t work well in the room, the door to our room didn’t lock, and the breakfast was 1 egg and a bun (with butter and jam). For the price it was nice, especially after roughing it for a few days. The beds were very comfy, the blankets were nice and thick, and they gave us fresh towels to shower with.

The hostel is very homely. The showers are the perfect temperature. And the staff are one of the kindest I have met in my trip. I stayed almost a week, and they even securely held my bags when I went away to multiple treks including Machu Picchu.

A very welcoming hostel, felt right at home straight away. All of the staff were so lovely and went as far as booking tours for us the day before they started! We left for our 5 day trek and came back! We kept adding days. Would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Cusco.

Our stay at Hospedaje Turistico Recoleta, was great. The hostel was clean and nice, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. It is located very close to the main square, in walking distance. It is very clean, and they have a great social room, where you can watch movies, play tabletennis and more. Will definetily stay there if I ever come back to Cusco.

This place is the best! All the people who worked there was so sweet and asking every day if we where okay. They are so sweet.! The Wi-Fi was so good and the breakfast also! Hot shower was amazing too! We went to a inks trail that the hostel booked for us. It was a amazing company they booked for us.! And we are so thankful for picking this place. I will highly recommend this place for everyone!❤️
