The views and vibes are incredible! Staying here, facing the Cangshan mountains from the Erhai Lake shore, was truly calming. The scenery from our room at Shiju was captivating; I could stare at it for four days straight and not get bored.
The room facilities are excellent. All the amenities are Aesop, and the furniture and quality far surpass what you'd typically find in a guesthouse.
Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea are provided daily. The breakfast is delicious and highly recommended.
It's located in a small village, and while every Didi driver mentioned it's a bit out of the way, getting a taxi is very convenient, so no worries there. It's also a short taxi ride to S-Bay, Xizhou, and Dali Ancient City.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. If you're coming to Dali, you really must try staying at Daji!

A wonderful, beautiful respite especially if you want to be a little away from the hubbub of the overly touristy spots. Breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve ever had and service was impeccable. We will be back.
