The Best Western CBD Hotel in Dar es Salaam is highly recommended. The staff welcomed us kindly upon check-in and were very helpful in resolving any issues that followed. Located in the city center, it is convenient for meetings and is also suitable for taking the ferry to Zanzibar. It is good value for money and the meals are also decent.

CBD is centrally located in the heart of the city center so close to most services and public transport. The hotel’s services and staff were also very commendable: kind and friendly stuff all the way from reception to every single service. Some of my new friends there include Faith and IDDI.

The first night there was no water in the room and I was asked to change it. I called someone to come and fix it. The bathroom floor leaked and it couldn't go out anymore. The facilities in the room were very poor. The air conditioning was like a tractor. I couldn't sleep at all. The next night I came back and the water stopped in the room. This time it was said that it couldn’t be repaired, so I had to change the room. There was a problem with the washbasin and the floor drain, and the water wouldn’t go out.
