Hotels in Sydney Central Business District, Darlinghurst

The location was perfect next to the China Town & convenient to CBD. Only 15-20mins transportation to Sydney airport. I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a subway station conveniently situated right across the street and numerous attractions nearby. The lobby is quite grand. However, the view from our room was unfortunately obstructed by trees, leading to poor visibility and diminishing the supposed advantage of a park-view room. Breakfast was lavish, featuring a self-service station for fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Overall, the service was decent. But we had a very frustrating experience: during morning check-out, an elderly person in our group accidentally left a public transport card tucked inside their room key. When we returned in the evening to look for it, we received no help whatsoever. Their staff proved inflexible and unhelpful, especially when confronted with an urgent issue.

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dryer There was a large kitchen so our family of four could relax very comfortably. It was great to be able to have a meal with cole and woolweath nearby. What is a bit disappointing is that the facilities, including the bathroom, are a bit old. Kitchen utensils, especially frying pans, are old. Still, the space is large and comfortable. They clean it well every day.

The hotel is located in a fantastic location, just opposite a shopping mall. I had a pleasant stay here. The only cons are: The toilet is a bit run down. Due to the apartment being so well located, it means that the pubs beside it can get a bit noisy at night, especially on the weekends.

I booked a room with a balcony but when I checked in they said it not available coz their system says standard twin room and showed then showers them My boking when they saw it they said they can’t provide that room on the first night so have to stay in a different room then they said they will bring my bags to the new room but ended up it was in the reception. That wrong system happens a couple of times already but they still haven’t fix the problem. Im not sure I’m gonna stay there again if ever I go back to Sydney. Their location was really good though.

My second stay here was great! The only minor issues were the bed being too soft and the sharp edges on the light switch panels. Everything else was excellent!

This aparthotel features L-shaped rooms. The location is fantastic – it's less than a 10-minute walk to the harbor, and you'll find supermarkets and shopping malls very close by. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and public transport. We stayed here as a family this time, and I'd definitely recommend it.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel due to the variety of the breakfast content and the spaciousness of the room, though there is no view. There was a construction site just next to the hotel and I felt the air quite filthy in the room. The breakfast this time was not as good as my previous visit 3 years ago. The worst part is I was promised free breakfasts for two on my extended one day stay, charge to be same as Trip.com (with breakfast included) but in the end I was charged and there was no remarks with regard to free breakfast. I could have just extended my stay via Trip.com at the same rate but with breakfast included. A duty officer offered me that option! When I checked out I was told there was no such remarks and the manager said he would check with the duty officer!

I would definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended! It’s perfect for a family stay, very clean, well-equipped, and the staff are super friendly. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance to Chinatown and other central spots.

The overall experience of staying at Mantra 2 Bond Street is very good. The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance of Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House and The Rocks. Wynyard subway station is also within a few minutes' walk, which is very friendly for tourists visiting Sydney for the first time. I booked a one-bedroom apartment, which is very spacious and equipped with a kitchen and washing machine and dryer, which is very practical for people who stay for a long time or need to cook. The overall cleanliness is also very good, the bedding is comfortable, and it is very safe to live in.
