I just moved into this hotel on 10 July 2025. The looks of the hotel was spacious. The crew and manager was friendly too. I had difficulty in booking some itenary that was in Beijing as it needed their number and they were friendly in assisting my request. The room when I entered was as I expected spacious and nicely designed, and the scenery was good. I like the tea set that was on the table set upon the tatami mat. It feel comfortable and I just seat there and brew myself some tea enjoying the window scenery. The breakfast was nice and tasty. Glad that I have chosen here. Will stay there again if I come to Datong.

The new Holiday Inn was truly amazing! The staff were all very professional and attentive. Special thanks to Manager Zhao Jie for arranging a room upgrade in advance and providing airport transfer service afterwards. The rooms were also very clean. The breakfast, including freshly made wontons, noodles, and fruit, was excellent. The Chinese restaurant was also reasonably priced and served both lunch and dinner. As for the hotel's location, it's in a local residential area with small and medium-sized supermarkets and plenty of barbecue restaurants nearby. It's about 3 kilometers from Datong Ancient City, making it easy to call a ride-hailing service.

A truly wonderful stay! I absolutely adored the traditional courtyard house. The owner's meticulous attention to detail was evident in the decor, with all the furniture crafted from genuine solid mahogany. The room amenities gave a very homely feel, featuring a solid wood bed, wardrobe, table and chairs, and a daybed. The toilet and shower were separate, and it even had a smart toilet. Everything was impeccably clean. Breakfast was fantastic! We received an incredibly warm welcome, making us feel like family.

A very satisfying trip. Environment: Quiet and comfortable, with a fountain and swings in front. Cleanliness: There are no hotels in the ancient city, only inns, which are not very clean. Hotels with children should be much cleaner and tidier. Service: Excellent. Seeing that I was traveling with two children, they upgraded me to a family room free of charge and even gave me breakfast coupons. The breakfast was also very varied. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a pick-up service from the station. Highly recommended!

This is a newly opened hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We booked a family room with our children, but there were no rooms available. The girl at the front desk immediately upgraded us to a suite for free. Thank you very much. We also want to thank the very young and handsome guy at the front desk for showing us the room. The price is very high, the hot spring is not big but clean and hygienic, it has local bathing characteristics, the guests are basically regular customers, slow and comfortable. The back is also a major feature. It costs less than 100 yuan to enjoy an hour of squatting, pressing, pinching, and flushing. Basically, they are all done in a deep sleep. Unfortunately, there are too many people in the queue, and I can't wait for more than an hour. I can leave my hope to the next time.

The surprise started with washing my face: As soon as I entered the bathroom, I saw the bear thick cotton towel! It is not the kind of thin disposable towel, but a thick, soft, and super-good cotton towel. It is very comfortable to wash your face and hands. The texture is perfect. I instantly felt that the hotel was really willing to spend money on supplies and took care of the guests' demand for quality. This small detail made my favorability towards the hotel soar! A little expert in atmosphere: The room is equipped with a small speaker, which is simply a weapon to enhance happiness! Back to the room at night, connect your mobile phone to play some favorite music, take a bath or just lie quietly, the hustle and bustle of the ancient city fades away, and your own quiet time is surrounded by beautiful melodies, and the atmosphere is directly full. Worry-free toileting: toilet paper is specially prepared in the bathroom! This seemingly small configuration is extremely thoughtful and hygienic when needed. It avoids embarrassment and also reflects the hotel's careful observation of the actual needs of guests, which is really a plus. Sophisticated laundry detergent: I also found a small bottle of laundry detergent with exquisite packaging! For those who need to wash small clothes (such as socks and underwear) on a short trip, this is simply a timely help. It is no longer a simple soap flake, but a high-quality laundry detergent, which once again proves the hotel's attention to details. In summary, Nianxiali Boutique Hotel perfectly interprets the word ”boutique”. It is not only clean and comfortable, but also infused with care and quality in every detail you can think of and can't think of. From the thick touch of the bear cotton soft towel, to the atmosphere brought by the small speaker, to the practical problems solved by toilet paper and exquisite laundry detergent, you can feel respected and cared for everywhere. This is definitely one of the best hotels of the same type I have stayed in in terms of details of ”improving the comfort and experience of staying”. Highly recommended to travelers who pursue quality and pay attention to details! In Datong Ancient City, if you want to live comfortably and stylishly, Nianxiali is definitely your best choice! Next time I come to Datong, I will definitely stay here again!

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

A very cost-effective hotel! Although the hotel is far from the ancient city, it is very close to museums and art galleries. Wanda Plaza is across the road, where there are two famous old restaurants in Datong, which are very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. It is suitable for self-driving travel, and the underground parking lot is large. The hotel's buffet is great, especially the knife-cut noodles, mutton offal noodles and mutton dumplings, which are very authentic. The hotel room is well soundproofed and the whole hotel is very quiet. Of course, there are some shortcomings. For example, in the early April weather, the hotel room was extremely hot and dry, and the air conditioner did not provide cold air. It could only open the window 24 hours a day to dissipate heat, and the temperature control was not in place. The curtains in the room are behind a whole row of sofas. There are no smart facilities. You can only climb up the sofa to open and close the curtains, which is very inconvenient. The hotel twin room only has a single bed of 1.2 meters, and the double room is only 1.8 meters, which is not friendly to families with children. I hope to add a parent-child room with two beds, one large and one small.
