Our stay was fantastic! The room was spotless with no strange odors, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep until morning. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, even recommending some excellent local restaurants. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the city! The only minor issue was that the toilet flush pressure was a bit weak 😂

就在火車站後面很方便，去古城也近，附近吃的很多。之前住旁邊的另一家，很不滿意，還貴些，對這家本來也不抱希望的，結果很驚喜，性價比很高，缺點是沒電梯和吹風機在走廊不太方便，能接受的話很推薦

I had a great one night stay at the Hauting Hotel. It’s a large, modern hotel conveniently located in a building attached to a big shopping centre, which made it easy to grab food or essentials. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with individual heating and cooling and electric opening and closing window dressings. The shower had excellent water temperature and pressure, and the bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries including shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste. A great bonus was the free laundry facilities. It has a gym also but I didn’t try that. Breakfast featured a nice spread of Asian cuisine, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others visiting Datong.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the ancient city, and the transportation is very convenient. There are many hotels and convenience stores nearby. The room is big and the facilities are new. The front desk service is very enthusiastic and overall I am very satisfied. Not enough points to mention: there is dust on the bedside (maybe an exception), there seems to be something wrong with the window in the room, it is not easy to close tightly.

Friendly staff, location is semi-central (not far from city centre and not far from the railway station (not Datongnan though). Rooms don't have any special charm (chain-style) but are well equipped and comfortable. Free washing machine & dryer. Coffee machine downstairs but bean quality doesn't shine. Did not try the breakfast

Ajummah at the front desk is very accommodating. I arrived at 6:30am and they were able to provide me a room at 8am. Very close to the railway station. The downside is room smells tobacco. The common bathroom is extremely dirty and smells like urine. There were even poop left is there without flashing down. I had to go up to the 3rd floor and use the bathroom there instead of the one in our floor. No towels, toiletries, slippers, hair dryer. If you just need a day to rest that is near the railways station, you can book this, otherwise look for other hotels in the area.

It was a pleasant surprise to see such a bright and cheerful room, so close to the train station and a shopping mall and hypermarket. The lady at the reception was very helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom has very good shower and drainage. The best we have seen! On top of that, we were allowed to do our laundry for free! Transport was convenient. Lots of buses around and easy to visit the tourist attractions. Highly recommend this hotel!

It is just opposite the train station and very close to the tourist gathering point, the Modern Brain Hospital, which is less than ten minutes' walk away. There is also a large shopping mall nearby with a McDonald's. I have been relying on McDonald's for breakfast these days. The hotel is an old-fashioned hotel, a bit old, but it is clean, the heating is very sufficient, it is a bit hot to sleep at night, and the price-performance ratio is also good.

The location is a bit hard to find; you have to go in through the door next to this soy sauce shop. A kind man there helped guide you. The loft room is suitable for a family; the bed is quite large. I didn't realize there was no air conditioning, but the owner was very kind and went to buy a fan for us that night. Otherwise, without windows and air conditioning, it would have been very stuffy at night. It happened to be raining heavily, so the temperature was quite low. The owner said he would install air conditioning later. The room is quite new, but there was no strange smell. After getting rained on, the shower was a bit hot, but it wasn't enough for a family to shower immediately; we had to wait for the water to heat up. We didn't know this at first and took a cold shower, but the owner told us to wait for the water to heat up. It's relatively close to the old town.

I spent two nights here and I felt very good. Even though I don't speak Chinese the owner and his daughters help me so much. They let me laundry late at night and the daughter helped me to order food using her app. The place is good according to price and very clean. In the neighbourhood there is a street with shops and different street food options.
