Saiva Hill Resort

Very quite place tucked in between mountains . With fantastic view of valley on one side and otherside...beautiful landscape...of city... Fantastic barbecue and camp fire... Nice place chill and relax...

We stayed at the Saiva Hill Resort on our trip to Mussoorie in the first week of March, 2023. It is an incredible property located on the edge of the valley overlooking the city of Dehradun and as such makes for an incredibly picturesque setting. The highlight of our trip was the huge open terrace which made it the perfect place to watch sunsets as we sipped our masala chais. Come night, and it made for an incredible star gazing experience. The property was clean and well maintained. Barring some minor spice adjustments in the food (which the chefs were very happy to comply with) our stay was extremely comfortable. The caretakers - Gaurav & Ankit - were super responsive to our calls and ensured we had a nice time. There were also some super cute and friendly doggos on the property who we could not get enough of 🐶 All in all, a great experience :)

We booked 2 Super Deluxe rooms based on info available online, interaction with resort ***agement and reviews on TripAdvisor but the resort didn't meet our expectations. Rooms are very basic with double bed, side tables and a mirror without baggage rack, no dressing table, no chairs. Few old/damaged chairs placed in balcony. Bathroom in room no 301 had peculiar/bad smell like from sewer line, bathroom in 302 is too small, not as shown in pics. Air freshener spray didn't improve the smell which required better solution. Hot water insufficient as geyser is 20/25L in 301 and 15L in 302. Imagine getting hot water initially which becomes cold after you are halfway in shower. Very bad experience in the shower for my wife. No hand/face napkins provided. Hygiene poor in rooms, restaurant. Breakfast was average, decent taste but menu and service require improvement. No fresh fruits, limited breakfast menu, average tea, juices. Rooh afza was served on one day, juice, cold coffee on other days. Menu for lunch, dinner has ***y items but one can't be sure about fresh ingredients as resort occupancy was low, hardly any guests in the restaurant. Quite expensive for the quality and service. Rooms had TV service but IPL channel was not available, provided next day. TV service stopped for a day in 302 as it could not be charged. Hotel set up requires more professional ***agement. Wifi signal was very weak even close to source at the reception. Overall average experience with the facilities and location which is quite far from city. Not worth the room charges and as claimed. Our rating is 1* for the quality of rooms and service or atmost 2* for the view of valley. Shall not recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Saiva resort. We went with our Family and stayed at the Khwab Fyuoli Villa. Jai Singh ji gave us undivided attention with great hospitality. The food was amazing and we highly recommend Saiva for your next stay...5 Stars...

I stayed at fyoli villa for 2 days with my family of 4. It was an wonderful experience. I communicated with property owner Vivek ji for booking. They were very helpful in proving guideline for the property route and even making quick arrangement of tour cab on a very short time. Jai Singh ji caretaker was of gr8 help nd very nice person. The best of all is location of the property. It's mesmiring view of doon valley from back side terrace and mussorie City hill view from front side of propert early morning and at night is unseen of and can"t be expressed in words. It's so peaceful out here. Just 5-6 km of mussorie hulla gulla..do hope to visit soon..all the best to the Saiva resort team..

I have been to this place last weekend ***** with my friends. I would 100% recommend this place for short or long stay with friends/family which has mesmerizing view of Dehradun from the top. *****, with this it has the put off as well, which is food they are serving. Food prices are too much high as your having it in Fine Dine Restaurant and at the same time quality of the food is too bad. 1. Salad they served, which seems to be cut day before and kept in the refrigerator before serving. 2. Chicken was too hard to chew. 3. Serving portion was too small. 4. Served in the badly kept utensils. Other than above mentioned points, rooms and location is very good. Thanks, Amit
