With lovely views and near the heart of Corwen, Bron-Y-Graig is an upmarket guest house offering solid en-suite accommodation with the full range of in-room facilities. The comfortable lounge/bar also has a wide range of reading material. Breakfast, made to order, is a sumptuous affair. Packed lunches are available, as is an a la carte dinner. Hosts, Nic and Wendy Brownlie are especially welcoming and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Bron-y-Graig and will stay again.

The friendliest, most welcoming place I have ever stayed. From the moment I arrived the hosts Nic & Wendy bend over backwards to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I was made to feel so welcome and at home. My room was lovely, the food was delicious and the location is perfect. I can’t wait to visit again, soon.

VENUE: beautiful views from both my bedroom and the dining room. Wonderful to see the mist rolling down the hillside in the morning. AMBIENCE AND DECOR: tastefully decorated throughout, well-maintained and a very welcoming feel. Spotlessly clean. ROOM: As above, with a comfortable bed, TV, local information, and an enchantingly small door that opened into a huge bathroom - that really took me by surprise! FOOD: a perfectly-cooked full Welsh breakfast, with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, etc. Everything you could want to set you up for the day. STAFF: above and beyond the call of duty! Wendy was the perfect host and could not have been more helpful. OVERALL: despite having a hectic personal schedule, I could not have been more delighted with my stay at Bron-y-Graig.

Having previously stayed at the Bron-y-Graig and loved it, we were a little worried about the idea of new owners. The welcome was as warm as ever, the place as comfortable as ever, and the Victorian ambience of the place unchanged. Nic and Wendy have installed a very welcome bar, and the breakfasts have gone up yet another notch - I am coeliac, so need a gluten free breakfast and found an entire gluten free breakfast menu with lots of choice (plus vegan, if you are that way inclined). They also now offer some evening meals, although we ate out. A perfect place to stay!

What a stunning location, overlooking the valley and surrounding hillsides, and a view of the tracks of Llangollen Steam Railway and Corwen station (the grand re-opening was happening the following weekend). The guest house stands well back from the main thoroughfare into Corwen, up a steep driveway. The building is beautiful and it doesn't stop there. Inside, the decor is a homage to William Morris and the victorian era while still having all the modcons that the majority of today's guests look for. Nic & Wendy have made it so welcoming and the service received was second to none, it could not be faulted. The bed was super comfortable, the food fabulously delicious. Having run a busy guest house myself, i fully understand how challenging it can be. So well done Bron Y Graig 🎉 we will be back!

Excellent hosts and location and a superb breakfast would definitely recommend. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. We attended a birthday party there so had the place to ourselves. Nice selection and decent prices so overall a great stay.

My partner and I spent three nights in the self catering Stables at Bron-y-Graig at the beginning of October. The first thing we noticed were the views from the front of the hotel. The outlook was beautiful. The Stables were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We felt at home straight away. Despite staying in the self catering block we ordered breakfast and dinner in the hotel each day. The breakfasts were top notch in a lovely dining room looking out over the valley. Nic, the proprietor, cooked all the food during our stay and it was delicious. Nic and Wendy were very welcoming and couldn't do more to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. They have been running the guesthouse for just over a year and they are clearly supremely suited to the job. Great place, great views and great hosts. We would strongly recommend a stay at Bron-y-Graig if visiting this area of Wales.
