We stayed here one night during a bicycle tour from Bruges to Brussels, but we would make a point of staying here if we were back in the area again. We were greeted warmly by the host and give excellent information about Dendermonde. The B&B is a large property, and one's room is in a separate building from the main house. There is a small vineyard and koi pond. It is photographable! Breakfast was excellent, with everything one would want, hot and cold.

Luxurious B&B, very tranquil, clean, quiet, nice modern rooms. Belgian beers & wine available at democratic prices. Owner couple runs this B&B and have gradually expanded it over the past 12 years to now 15 rooms. We stayed in the Superior Room type which seems try largest one and is the size of a studio with separate sitting area. Breakfast served in common area but otherwise no restaurant on-site. Biking and walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a quiet stay near Dendermonde.

De l’accueil au cadre. De la literie à la salle de bain, du petit déjeuner à l’ensemble de la prestation. Tout fut parfait. Nous y sommes arrivés à vélo, pas de problème pour les stationner de façon sécurisée. L’endroit est tranquille et le petit déjeuner est copieux

Abalona is heel rustig gelegen in een landelijke omgeving (boerderijen) op fietsafstand van het centrum van Dendermonde. We verbleven met 6 koppels vrienden/fietsers één nacht. We hadden een héél ruime kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt, achteraan het gebouw. Net voor onze deur konden we 's avonds rustig nakaarten op een ruim terras bij de wijngaard. De gastvrouw was super vriendelijk en heeft gezorgd voor een ontbijt dat we niet snel zullen vergeten. Echte pistolets, lekkere granola, versgeperst fruitsap... (Alleen de kwaliteit van de koffie kon beter.) Echt een aanrader deze B&B!
