I selected the hotel, which was more expensive than other hotels in its class/neighborhood, and paid for the higher priced room based on the images that were on the site. I don’t really know Denver so when I saw the sweeping view of the mountains with a lounger in front of the windows, I thought that’s what I was getting and that’s what I would get to look at over the 3 days that I was in Denver alone. I was originally put in a room without a lounger. The staff tried to tell me the price difference was only about higher or lower floors, and that I should have read the description. It was my fault for not reading, but the pictures are deceptive in all fairness.
They did find me a room with a lounger but the view in both rooms were just of buildings. Anyhow, lesson learned.
On the 2nd day I left around 11am and came back around 3pm and my room was still not cleaned. When I checked out, there was no courtesy to ask me how was my stay or if I needed help with my luggage or getting a cab.
It’s just a hotel - there’s nothing that feels special about it in all honesty.
