Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel

3rd hotel in our 12D Turkey tour, arriving in Cappadocia from Amasya. We had to pack light for our 2N stay as hotel was a 10 minute walk on a slope through small lanes that the coach could not get through. It was just flights of stairs all the way, including the restaurant at the roof-level on 4th / 5th for your meals. Room was spacious with a veranda and there was a bath tub. We started to realize generally rooms are never going to be smoke-free in Turkey. Amenities are very minimally stock (tissue paper is non-existent). Dinners and breakfast were not bad. Cats are everywhere, in and out. Open outdoor views from roof floor are quite spectacular.

We stayed at Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel back in August 2023 for a total of 2 nights and it is one of the most memorable stay ever for me! By the time we reached hotel it was too late because of a delayed flight; the staff went out of way and saved dinner for us ready by the time we checked in! Location wise I am not really sure but the 2 nights we spent in Cappadocia just passed by very quickly! We had local tour guides for both the days and there was lot to see. Ibrahim(Yuki Travels) booked the Hot Air Balloon ride for both of us and luckily the weather was cooperative too and we did the ride on day one itself! Breakfast again was so fresh and huge spread; the dinner was just as excellent and fresh! It is the terrace breakfast and dinner are served! They also setup a cute heart photobooth where we tried few selfies and it is for everyone! Not much parking but couple streets away free street parking. I will go back to this hotel only if I go to Cappadocia again and I will recommend this place for the stay, the food and the very humble, friendly staff!! Hotel doesn't have a lift. One has to climb steep stairs to 5th floor for having breakfast. Entrance of the hotel is through a narrow lane where our bus could not go. So every time we had to walk quite a distance. It is also away from the market place or town centre. All rooms are very dimly lit. My room didn't have a proper cupboard or a table.

Outstanding hospitality, views, food, blue sky, and guided tours. Enjoyed easy day trip to Avanos to Sultans Ceramic & to Caves & to hot air balloons & to Love (Lava) Valley. The staff at the hotel is very kind and you can observe that they got along really well with one another. During their office hours we can see they enjoy ea other’s company

The service at this hotel is very bad. We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. While leaving the hotel in the morning we requested for bell boy for the luggage as the room was on second floor. They did not send anyone as they dont have this service in the morning and we had to get all the luggage. The food option is also very bad as at this restaurant. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly. No proper hygiene maintained at this hotel. Bad things/cons -No proper trained housekeeper to clean the rooms and bathrooms -No bellboy/porter service in the morning for the luggage. -No currency exchange available - Reception is closed early morning (I have attached photo) - Very limited food option This is like a 2 star hotel so I recommend not worth paying more than 50$US dollar per night. If paying a price then I suggest to look for other better options.

3 nights July family tour was planned by owner Mr Ibrahim. Rooms were cleaned and sight was amazing with fine weather. Rooms were big enough specially their shower room were very big. Staff were friendly and supportive. I will recommend those people who never visited Cappadocia to Try Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel after my second tour experience with them

The hotel is superb, and with a very magnificient view of a mountain and an old fort at the top. Minutes walk from the town square. And few minutes drive from Goreme, the centre of attractions in Cappadocia. The owner Ibrahim is a very friendly, helpful and always cheery person. Aided by his staff - Chef Jemal, Amer or Omar at reception, Amet (himself,his father and mother Ayesha), tour guide Ferad. They were all very,very hospitable people. Always smiling and willing to go out of the way to make our vacation an memorable one. This hotel is one of the most recommended to us during our stay at Cappadocia. The rooms are large and can accommodate families with babies/children. During spring/summer, there are outdoor tables and chairs that lets you rest, have dinner or supper or just lounging. Overall, our stay there was very memorable and just couldn't bear to leave. It was just too beautiful!

First of all thanks to Mr sayed and his team for the great hospitality :) It was march when we arrived in Cappadocia and we decided to stay in dedeli konak cave hotel 2 nights full of joy with a delicious food and great staff that was very helpful, highly recommended and hope to see you guys again.

This cave hotel was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Rojda answered our questions and made sure that we had what we needed. The hotel was easy walking to downtown Urgup with good restaurants. Very clean and well kept. Breakfast and dinner were also great. Fresh salads, fruit, breads and several main dishes ( including vegetarian) were served buffet style.
