Where the APEC Ministerial Meeting is held, the room is large, some of the facilities are a bit old, and the hotel lobby is not very grand. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet and public security is good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the core area of the main city.

The BEST! I stayed here for 4 nights to watch local sports (LGRW). Clean, friendly staff, and in an amazing location. You can walk to restaurants, stadiums and shopping outlets. I am coming back again next month and I didn’t even debate where to stay. Already booked again.

Our stay at the Cadillac Westin was magical. The staff was helpful and courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the second floor restaurant, pool, hot tub and gym. Everything was beautiful and inviting. Food was very good and reasonably priced. My family and I will this hotel again when we have another outing in Detroit.

Booked 3 executive suites for NYE. Got there at 3:30pm for check in at 4pm. My room wasn't ready until after 4:30, other 2 were fine. Guest service associate at the desk was more than helpful and was very good. After midnight, realized the room I booked for 2 adults and 2 children did not have blankets/ pillows for my kids. Called guest services from the room at 12:30AM, had to call them 3 more times and didn't get the appropriate items needed for my kids until almost 2AM. For over $500 per night in the rooms I booked, this was disappointing. Then the security guy that dropped off the blankets for my kids stated the guy that was supposed to deliver was in trouble because he stated that he delivered the items on 2 occasions which is why we had to call 3 times for them. Beautiful hotel, good service at check in and check out. Support staff for room items is bad.

The only complaint I have is we were unable to get room service both times we called. Told it was unavailable. The menu in our room was outdated per the Motor Bar staff. Everything else was great and the hotel is beautiful!

Do not eat at Sullivan's. They did not even have a bead basket. Everything was price separately. I am surprised they did not charge for a glass of water. The exception was the server Taylor, she was impressive and professional.
