The Half Moon Inn

We had heard good things about the pub and we were not disappointed, the food and staff were amazing, very generous potion sizes and the staff will even wrap up your leftovers so you can take them home. We would highly recommend the half moon for a meal out !

We were staying locally at Rose Cottage for my mums 80th. And decided on using The Half Moon for her birthday evening meal What a great idea that was, very friendly welcoming atmosphere. The ladies that were working couldnt do enough for us. We had prawn cocktails and then ate the steak and stilton pie from the specials board . Simply delicious , no room for dessert The bar area is lovely and quaint and there were some locals playing a die game , very friendly. All in all a very lovely evening Thank you Half Moon .

A friend and I enjoyed a fantastic overnight visit to The Half Moon Inn , Rushall. Visited on a Saturday evening after a day’s Masters of the Air themed history tour across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk culminating in a visit to Thorpe Abbotts . A lovely cosy rural pub with great bed and breakfast and room facilities . Super clean and tidy rooms, comfy bed, well stocked with tea and coffee and facilities plus plenty of towels and toiletries. Hearty food and drink menu on offer with generous portion sizes served in a buzzing front bar or in the spacious restaurant. Special mention for the friendly and very helpful staff who were really superb service wise. The pub walls carry pictures and artefacts of the 100th Bombardment Group USAAF which makes for a very poignant reminder . Can heartily recommend this great country pub and B&B. Location, facilities, comfort, and host all excellent … All the staff were just 110% incredible friendly….. Accommodation suited my disabled father with his equipment…. Tea/coffee making facilities lots of complimentary bathroom soaps and shampoos. Full English Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of toast, tea and orange juice … Will definitely be back … Thank you x

Stopped for lunch at this charming inn whilst travelling around. Very warm welcome and great atmosphere. Settled in next to lovely fire and was served quickly. Great food and generous portions. Would recommend trying their own cider. All the staff were very friendly will definitely return when next in the area.

Had a meal today with friends. Excellent service from a great team. The food was amazing along with the great atmosphere. Would recommend this place to everyone. They serve a selection of real ales which are kept great. Thanks everyone for making this visit special.

The Half Moon Inn was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday. Natalie and Keighly were great and made sure everything was organised. They also recommended Pat Reyford (singing guitarist) and he was amazing. There was a really good atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the three course meal, drinks, service and entertainment. Thank you for your hard work.

Hadn't been to the Half Moon for many years until last night. Had a lovely evening with family. The food and service was excellent. Couldn't fault a thing, quality of food, very good portion sizes, the table service, comfort, all spot on. Will definitely visit again before too long.
