DECEVANT JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS... Pas assez d'équipements ludiques: un malheureux jet pour les épaules, 2 jaccuzis surbookés dont on nous éjecte au bout d'un quart d'heure pour laisser la place, sauna et hammam surbookés également ....on finit par chercher un transat pour lire tranquillement: transat impossible à trouver plus de dispo !!! Restaurant décevant également : plats à moitié froid et pas terrible, vins chers ... je ne retournerai pas à la thalasso de douarnenez

The hotel looked much better in the photos on the website than in reality. Bit worn out overall. I think the fact you check-in at the swanky 4-star reception and are sent across the road to your not-at-all swanky 2-star accommodation does not help. WiFi was patchy, out of the three rooms we had one didn't really have any WiFi at all. I didn't read all the information properly before booking and didn't realise the spa (swimming pool, sauna etc) was an extra cost and not for under 16s. There's a bar next door and it was noisy till past midnight, this is a problem if you sleep with the windows open. If you go for breakfast go early, us late risers found out all coffee was gone, they did make us some more though which was nice.
Saying that. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms had a layout that placed another door between where the beds were and the corridor so noise from corridors didn't bother at all. Super location right next to the beach. Parking was free off site and we had no problem finding a spot close by. Staff were nice. After the initial disappointment we had an ok stay.

The hotel is very close to wonderful beaches and promenades by the sea. Bus stop is nearby( bus 1 from Douarnenez tourist office) The room is big and confortable. It si possible with extra cost of 6 euros to have breakfast at Golden Tulip Hotel with beautiful terrace with view on the sea. I recommend the Spa ( costs 18 euro for Premier classe guests)

misleading photos, the photos on the site relate to the hotel la baie ****, so when we are assigned a room in the hotel l'escale **, the surprise is great ....
no sea view, no reception, outdated hotel, threadbare carpet on the stairs, paintwork more than worn.
in the first assigned room, the toilets did not work! bathroom: see the photo !!!!
Paid parking but there is not enough space.

We had booked a room with sea view and access to the swimming pool in a 4-star hotel. Upon arriving, disappointment... our room is in the annex opposite, no sea view, no access to the swimming pool, just a dilapidated room. The carpet is stained, the furniture very outdated, the bathroom rather basic with mold in the shower. The only good point is that the bedding was comfortable..
For a 2 star hotel, I do not recommend at all I would even say better a campsite than this hotel. We are very disappointed.

J'ai trouvé que pour les tarifs pratiqués il serait souhaitable d'envisager des travaux ( le plafond dans la partie détente à côté de la piscine par exemple, bassin de nage au bout de la piscine, etc). J'ai eu froid pendant la séance d'hydrorelax , vu en sortant qu,'il y avait une couverture, on ne me l'a pas proposé, dommage.

Une petit parenthèse en couple. Vue sur la mer au restaurant, accueil très cordiale. Le petit déjeuner était très bien garni, produits frais. Soins agréables. L’accès au hamam et au sauna sont un plus. Et l’accès direct à la mer est formidable.
