Top tier customer service from steph she went above and beyond to make my mrs birthday. I asked her if she could do anything special. And she decorated the room and left a bottle prosecco. My mrs was very happy with the whole experience. A big thank you to steph

We booked this Travelodge so we could visit the Black Country living museum. The room was clean and tidy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice and you could help yourself to as much as you wanted . Staff were constantly checking to see if anything needed topped up ! We had a evening meal , not a big choice but still enough to cover varying tastes. Was a bit dubious booking a Travelodge but pleasantly surprised, will book again so we do the Dudley zoo and castle as all in walking distance.

Just back from a night stay. We were in Birmingham attending the indoor arena so decided to make a weekend of it. We arrived late on the Friday evening and were allocated a room on the first floor. The rooms are of the old PI design - the one we had was clean and tidy but we did feel the corridor needed some TLC (general tidy up with repainting door frames etc). Had breakfast one day - the range for the continental wasn't as good as we have seen at other PI's but overall it was ok. The cooked breakfast though was very good. Located close by are a number of eateries plus Dudley Zoo and Castle is just a few minutes walk away. Our only gripes were the inconsiderate guests in the room above us who must have been wearing clogs on the feet judging by the lout footsteps and stamping we could hear. The other negative was the standard WiFi was very poor compared to other Premier Inns. Other than that we would be happy to use again.

As above. Visit Black Country, Canal, Zoo, Castle and more without moving your car that saves on parking fees. Didn't fancy the cafe so didn't use, but tons of eateries nearby. Very modern building. Rather boomy with banging doors and noisy residents but well sound proofed from the road. Lovely staff and a good room.

We stayed here for 3 nights to see the Zoo and Black Country Museum. It was a good pick as you could walk to both from the Premier Inn and save yourself the cost of parking . Don’t usually eat eat in Inns but as we arrived after a long drive and the Inn had a meal deal of main and starter or pudding , drink and breakfast for £21 we decided to do this. Yes the menu is limited and it’s not the highest quality but it was great value for money and for weary travellers it was just right . We had the fish and chips followed but fruit salad . Other days we ate out and can recommend The Olives in the town centre for a curry and the Toby Carvery . Mornings we walked round the cornet to Macdonalds A good stay

I had a photoshoot in Halesowen on the Friday. I decided to stay at the Dudley Travelodge as I also wanted to visit the Black Country living museum and the zoo. As this Travelodge is located walking distance to both it was a good choice. The free parking is good (and decent size car park too). Also, my room was a decent size, clean and had a comfy bed. For the price paid I was very happy. As well as an onsite restaurant / bar there are also a few eating options within a short walk. Also

Just got home from Dudley after spending 3 nights at this travelodge. Extremely clean, warm and comfortable with wonderful staff. The reception staff were helpful and seemed genuinely eager to help. We decided to eat dinner in the bar/cafe/ restaurant which had a good selection of food that was very reasonably priced, tasty and was bought to our table hot. 2 courses for £14, hard to find food as good anywhere else. We prepaid for our all you can eat breakfast which included all the usual cooked breakfast items plus toast, bagles, fruit, ceriel, porridge, a selection of hot drinks and juices. Breakfast staff were constantly ensuring the food was not running out, cleaning tables and welcoming guests. Fiona, my namesake was wonderful as was the young lady who was working with her both evenings, running the bar and bringing the food out. They were chatty and showed an interest in what we had planned for our short break, giving us information about how to get to our chosen attractions and suggested places we might like to visit. My only complaint was that our beds were not made, even though we indicated we wanted the housekeeping service for both rooms as we were entitled to as we were staying at least 3 nights. We reported this to reception and were told they would arrange for this to be done. We went out for the evening, returned to find it still hadn't been done. I was annoyed by this as I felt I was fobbed off. I would rather be apologised to and given a reason for lack of bed making the the rooms. I would definitely stay in the hotel again and would strongly urge others too.

Travelodge hotels are always reasonable providing a comfortable stay, and everything you need. Always clean, they provide coffee and tea making facilities, and they never mind you asking for more tea, coffee or milk. The only downside is only having half an hour free wi-fi, unless you pay. There was free parking which is great when visiting The Black Country museum, next door.
