Beautiful place to relax. The rooms are nice and comfy. The views are amazing, food was delicious and the employees were outstanding, especially Gustavo. Fishing was also great. Don't miss the opportunity to visit here, it really is a wonderful experience.

Excellent experience. The staff are friendly the rooms are nice and the view is awesome. We ate some meals here and the food is really good. Ceviche, sashimi all excellent. They also have a gentleman on site (Gustavo or “Gus”) who speaks great English and helped us quite a bit. We still plan on a snorkeling trip and to stay another night.

Awesome fishing offshore and inshore, we caught the biggest Rooster fish and snook ever. The hotel is great and the beach and bay around it are truly magical. They have a surf break right on their beach door and a private beach on the other side, the reef around the area of El Maculis make all the difference; Very affordable and luxurious for the price!!

Spectacular!! A unique place with a wide variety of activities to do. The sport fishing is top notch, the tours to the Gulf Islands are excellent. Unique experiences in a unique hotel in El Salvador. The Gulf of Fonseca is a special destination.

Casa del Golfo If you are someone looking for a hotel that offers Padding, Kayak and Surf, at 1:00 p.m. (it is the time of the best tide), this is your hotel. But first you should consider the following: Pros: - [ ] Good weather, I came in January and it was perfect sun and heat for the beach - [ ] Makulis beach is 300 meters away, it is among the 12 best in LA, but no one told us, so we didn't meet it - [ ] Good breakfast, a la carte and very delicious - [ ] Excellent location in front of the beach - [ ] Relaxed atmosphere, as there are few rooms there are not many people - [ ] There are two swimming pools and as it is few people, you almost have them to yourself - [ ] Comfortable bed, comfortable pillows - [ ] Good air conditioning - [ ] Good Wifi signal - [ ] They give you a water refill in the cafeteria Cons: - [ ] The beach is rocky, so bring beach shoes - [ ] Small rooms, with low lighting and minimalist furniture: the bed, a half wardrobe with two drawers and two supports next to the bed - [ ] There are no lamps, that is, they are there but not They work - [ ] The bathroom outlet does not work either - [ ] Mirror only in the bathroom and not full-length, since the outlet did not work, she had to dry her hair in the room - [ ] They do not give you bath towels, only robes, and two beach towels, when I asked for a towel for my hair, they gave me one, but they told my husband that they no longer had them? - [ ] There is no TV in the room - [ ] They do not allow you to bring food or drink into the facilities - [ ] The room is cleaned every three days - [ ] They do not have almond milk so if you do not consume dairy, no I know, because they don't allow you to enter anything but they don't have everything - [ ] The a la carte menu is not very extensive - [ ] The hot water is not that hot, let's say it's not ice cold - [ ] They don't respect the check in time , we arrived tired before check-in time. They checked us in (they knew we were already there), and took us to the restaurant, as we already knew which room was ours, we were impatient with the time, our surprise was that 7 minutes before check-in time, we saw the cleaning staff enter I guess because of my annoyance they delivered it to me at 3:30 but I can't know how much they cleaned in half an hour. They didn't even apologize to us. - [ ] The above brings me to this point, they need to improve customer service Conclusion: For $200 a night, my opinion is: very low quality-price ratio, for someone looking for a hotel to rest and relax without being interested Surfing, or Kayaking.

I didn't like that there was no one waiting at the entrance. We wanted a Daypass and they simply said there was no restaurant service. The lack of information and customer empathy left a bad taste in my mouth. They should publish service hours. I don't think I will return and if I ever do I will update my review.

A hotel that fills you with peace, tranquility, impeccable rooms, very good lunches, very attentive employees, you can tell when the owners are attentive to business.....the best stay of this vacation. Suggestions could be lighting in palm trees and in the pool at the end, renewal of towels but that is the least important thing, mentioning to clients that when they leave the hotel they should be careful because the exit is a bit complicated......the hotel With constant maintenance it feels clean in any area of the hotel, congratulations and thank you very much, believe me, I will return for more nights, we are invited to return to that beautiful oasis.

A little structure is missing, mainly an energy generator. One night the power went out and the generator didn't work, we ate in the dark and slept without air conditioning, insect screens were missing from the windows, we couldn't even open windows.

The Hotel is magnificent, the best in the entire area. Its facilities, the beach, the sunrise and sunset views are incredible. In addition, it includes attractions whose service is included, of which, we went swimming in the reef, a special experience. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is gourmet and very tasty. They have enough variety. I only recommend improving the path to the beach where you can see the sunrise.
