Lovely atmosphere at the reception and wonderful view from the room. Staff is very friendly. However, the buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing and there were no staff to support at all.

Only stayed here one night as we started our Irish adventure, but really enjoyed it. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. had a great dinner then breakfast the next morning at the Shanaway Grill. Would highly recommend for it's spa like atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - it's a great location. The staff so warm and welcoming! Our meal at the restaurant was delicious - and the pub was a nice relaxing place to spend our first evening. The common areas of the hotel are very inviting - Highly recommend this hotel!

The word Welcome jumps out at you ,it seeps up from the ground and enfolds you in a strong embrace .you are celebrity here .It's hard to define the charm of the place but even in bad weather your spirits are brightened .A good place to propose .Even get married or an Anniversary .

Stumbled on this gem during our adventure on the west cost of Ireland. I'm so thankful we did. Staff was welcoming and so helpful. Shout out to Harriet at the front desk. She was so helpful in telling us of some beautiful places to visit - Kilkee Cliffs, Loophead Lighthouse, King John's Castle, and some great places to stop and eat while out exploring. Our room was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed watching sports and having a few beverages at the bar. Bar staff was friendly, they made me a great moijto and poured a great Guinness. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant, but we did have breakfast, which was a delicious way to start our day. Automatic pancake maker thew us for a loop, but staff gave us a lesson and we were soon making pancakes. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay perfect. We will tell our friends and family to stay with you!

Fabulous hotel. We stayed with our family of 2 adults and 5 children. The staff were very friendly and the place was spotless. The kids loved the pool. Will definitely be back. Great value.

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a small incident and they helped us in a very kind and efficient manner. A special thanks to O’Shea and the front desk who saved the rest of our trip in Ireland.

The front lobby has a lovely appeal, which is the only positive aspect we had. We rented two rooms. One was supposed to have a king, and the other was supposed to have two beds. Ours had a double, or a small queen, and our other booking had a double and a king. The restaurant menu listed allergies on the menu. We ordered the lamb because it was dairy-free, but we were told that a few items (the mash and the carrots) of the dish contained dairy despite not being listed on the menu. We were offered a few baby potatoes instead. Typically, when there are questions about allergies, Chefs come out to ensure the safety of the meal and not let young servers who are untrained guess what the dish contains. The servers also seemed uninterested and did not check on us or refill our drinks. Regarding the meal, it was unseasoned. Just because we need dairy-free for safety doesn't mean that nothing else could be used. Lastly, we arrived at the hotel after 12M on our second day after visiting Galway, and the lack of security was shocking. A key card was not required to enter the hotel, nor was there an attendant at the front desk when we arrived to ensure we were guests of the hotel. Coincidentally, our card did not work to enter our room; I went back down to the front desk and called out for assistance with no answer. Eventually, I had to ring a bell for assistance. He finally heard me as he appeared to be cleaning the bar area after it closed. He was very friendly but strange a key card is not required to enter after hours at such an establishment. Overall, I was disappointed in the entire stay.
