Yonder Escalante

Was a little uncomfortable paying hotel prices to share showers and toilets, I was kinda unaware the unit would not have these. Very clean, looks fun with a group. As a solo traveler the Vibe was kinda weird.

Great, huge hot tub. Loved being able to interact with other guests around the gas firepits in the evening and morning. Bathhouse/bathroom areas are very well maintained. Beverages (including water) & snacks in the patio area were a nice touch. Drive in movie was a lot of fun; thanks for reasonable discretion about the movie selection (Raiders of the Lost Ark). The website could have been clearer that individual small cabins don't have toilets & sinks. It was OK that they don't have toilets and sinks; but should be clearer about this on the website.

i enjoyed the accomodations but i did not realize that there were no bathrooms in the cabins we eere staying in. but i loved the open area fire pits. we met and chatted with several folks. the night sky was spectacular!

Yonder offers a variety of lodging choices, from "luxury" to bare-bones tiny homes that don't have bathrooms or running water. I had intended to book 2 of the upscale lodgings and *******'s receipt indicated that that's indeed what I had booked but on check-in, Yonder indicated that ******* had booked my group into tiny-homes. It took more than a little discussion but Yonder's management eventually made the mis-booking right, so 4 thumbs up to Yonder's management and 4 thumbs down to *******!

This an awesome way to spend some time in Escalante. We stayed in an Airstream and loved it. The pool and hot tub felt great after long hikes. The drive-in movie theatre was a great extra. Every aspect of the property is well maintained, pretty, and clean. Staff is very friendly and around available all the time.

A fantastic retro-modern property. Spa-like bathhouse with private outdoor showers. Loved the drive-in theater experience. Beautiful setting.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was terrific. Super clean, and pretty much new. Great outdoor shower. We could not have been happier. The employees were all super helpful and kind. The grounds were immaculate. I would highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the cabins. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and the pillows too, WOW!! We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but wouldve enjoyed more time there. The shared bathhouse was super clean, very, very nice and upscale. The outdoor shower was beautiful and worth the experience, however a wasp did fly in and I had to get out in a hurry. The drive in was such a cool addition for something different. Nice place!

We stayed in an Airstream trailer for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable, and the a/c unit was great. I will mention the window coverings are not adequate, they are tiny, thin, white sheets/curtains. We hung towels & blankets over windows (bring clips for that), and noticed other trailers had done the same. The Airstream trailers are close to the shared bathrooms, which was nice for getting up in the middle of the night. The trailers are also right next to the drive-in theater. The bathrooms were probably my favorite part of staying at Yonder. The outdoor showers were amazing, and all of the amenities they offer (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Dyson hair dryers, L’ange straighteners, Q tips, cotton balls, dark towels for removing make up) were great. Really, REALLY nice bathrooms. The food at the food truck was good, just pricey. Hamburger, chicken *****s, one huge order of fries =$43 (we were starving so it was worth it). The drive in theater was fun, and we loved the cars. We learned that people who showed up and didn’t get a car because they weren’t early enough could complain to the manager and have cars reserved for the next night. We were also told by staff that anyone with the media can have a car reserved. So depending on who you are, or the circumstance, it can happen. For the rest of us, get there an hour early and stay with the car until the movie starts. The popcorn is free! Bring bug spray! Overall, we had a fun time staying at Yonder.
