I would rate this as one of the worst stays I’ve had. I was traveling with my sister so before I arrived I wanted to ensure that we were on the same floor and on the same building. Upon checking in, they could not do it. Had to pay extra to get upgraded in order to be in the same room type and same floor. However, I did not get the same room type. My room was half the size of hers. Clearly disappointed that I paid extra for a room type and location when it was a different room type altogether. They explained that they don’t have the same room type as hers as it’s 1 of a kind in the whole resort. They decided to move me to another room which was not “upgraded”. The room was very old. The toilet was constantly flushing by itself. The shower kept making a rattling noise when taking a shower. The maintenance crew came and said they can’t fix it. The supervisor of the hotel was not able to do anything about it. After telling him I wanted to speak with his manager they changed my room again. That whole situation took up half the day. The last room I’ve realized on the second day had an ant problem. At this point, I just let it be. I did notice an exterminator going to the rooms since it was clear that there was some type of infestation. The beds were very uncomfortable. There’s no WiFi by the pool areas in the Marina even though I was told there is before I checked in. Food options were very limited and VERY over priced. Coffee in the morning was $6! Staff were rude.

Overall the property is beautiful however I found it difficult to navigate. From check in we had asked for a map because we knew things were spread out. It’s a very large property with a furnicular to get from the marina/water park area to the main resort area. Unfortunately the only available thing was the virtual map that didn’t really well outline where things were like restaurants or how to physically get to the different locations on the property. Many of the staff also weren’t sure where certain places were. Room was ok was told it was an ocean view which is was to a point but ground level with distant views through multiple palm trees. The balcony was a perk but it was ground level and was just above the access driveway where staff frequently ride golf carts or resort vehicles on to gain access to the hotel. You can hear the golf carts pretty frequently through the late evening and definitely the early mornings when trying to sleep. The accommodations were nice but the bed was pretty firm and the pillows were small and similar to the size of throw pillows. The staff was all very nice and extremely friendly.

View is exceptional ! Rooms and facilities are very nice; staff is friendly and helpful. Attractions ( boat ride to Palomino island and Coqui water park and swimming pools) and dining options are great! No need to go outside the hotel fir anything. Very relaxing.

Everything was excellent the room I still was beautiful but outdated the scenery was excellent the staff was excellent but transportation there is very expensive either you rent a car or taxi both are expensive try to get a guy who you can call when you need to go places
