"new owners" wouldn't honor obligation hotel owed us for poor service from staying previously. Tried to call and email before arriving and no response. We were turned away with no offer of a room. Would not recommend.

Beautiful Moroccan style room. Loved it on first sight. However, after my canvas bag and clothes spent a day on the sofa by the door they started smelling foul. Only the following day I realised it's from the actual sofa which stinks of cat wee. Had to wash everything that had contact with that sofa! Other things that need the owners' attention: toilet seat and shower fixing need repairing, safe needs bolting to the wardrobe as it can be carried out, the narrow balcony off the room (a selling point!) is not useable, it's a filthy long and narrow space with no view and no furniture to sit on. Another "feature" - the rooftop terrace - is also unusable as the dirty uncomfortable metal chairs don't have any cushions on them.

The Location was ideal. The Riad is at the beginning of the Medina, so for us ideal. Since we were in 2 minutes in the Medina but need not to carry luggage through the crowed Medina to a Riad which is in the old district. The Riad even so it is not a 5 star hotel was well maintained and everything was functional. The WLAN was also stable and reliable. The house has had also a roof top which gives a nice view in the surrounding. Here some metal tables and chairs are set there, but it could be made more appealing by adding one or two sofas. Our room has a nice size actual it was a suite which we really liked. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast with eggs sunny side up, omelette and fresh made orange juice. For this it was good. Also here some smaller improvements could be done which would improve this significantly. E.g. offer some fruits such as oranges, apples and/or dates. A carafe of water, etc. So overall a nice, simple Riad offering actual all you need for some relaxing days in Fes.

Well run property in heart of Fez that survived COVID-19 by running lean and mean. We were one of only three families in this ~8 room hotel owned by a family with 2 other riads nearby. Room was clean, staff were pleasant and breakfast was hearty. For the 90 euro/night fee for my family of three this was a great choice.

Très beau cadre en respectant le style marocain. Anas et sa femme Siham aux petits soins, petits dejs copieux, dîners travaillés et pleins de saveurs, très bonne literie, produits de douche de qualité, chambre propre, refaite tous les jours, draps changés à la moindre tâche, Le riad propose et organise des visites géniales je recommande une bonne expérience je recommande fort bien.

Un joli havre de paix ! Merci ! Anas et sa femme sont aux petits soins, attentionnés et prévenants pour leurs hôtes. Nous leur avons demandé des conseils pour les visites que nous avions prévues de faire. Anas a pris soin de réserver pour nous ! La chambre est très propre, les draps changés à la moindre tâche ! Je n'avais encore jamais vu ça ! Nous avons très bien dormi. Les petits déjeuners étaient copieux et les dîners un délice ! Une belle découverte des délicieuses saveurs marocaines. Nous y retournerons très certainement 🙂 Merci !

merci à Anass et sa femme pour leur accueil chaleureux, mes enfants ont vécu un séjour féérique :-) Avec une mention spéciale aux petits déjeuners !! D'ailleurs, je ne comprends pas les récents messages négatifs car le riad a été rénové récemment avec plein d'artisanat typique marocain très sympa, et l'accueil a été plus qu'à la hauteur. Bref, un séjour sans faute de notre côté

Nous arrivons dans un Riyad bien décorer , les chambres sont vraiment magnifiques avec de belles salle de bains . Alors imaginez ma déception quand je rentre dans la douche et qu’il n’y a pas une goutte d’eau . Je n’ai pas pu profiter de la salle de bain durant le séjour étant alors que nous étions 4 dans la chambre nous avons dû nous nous laver dans les autres chambres car le Ryad était privatisé . Malgré mes différentes réclamations le problème n’a pas été résolu . Je tiens à noté ma grande déception alors que je n’avais rien à reprocher aux personnels quand lors de mon départ je n’ai pas retrouvé 2 de mes chargeurs ( tablette et téléphone ) d’une certaine valeur ! Le petit dej était assez sommaire .C’est dommage je reste sur une note négative !

Mauvaise expérience au Riad ibn battouta, je déconseille, pas de chauffage, pas d’eau dans les douches, l’hôte ce permet d’entrer dans les chambres en notre absence, petit déjeuner médiocre, on est loin de l'hospitalité marocaine avec des économies sur nos moindre demandes, du pain industriel, un jus d’orange couper à l’eau, manque de place, pas préciser lors de la réservation, les enfants ont dormis sur les canapés. Je ne recommande pas !
