The hotel is good that I can storage my luggage before I check in. The location is also good and close to the train station.

Amazing little hotel right in the middle of everything. Few minutes from the Duomo. Surrounded by little streets full of restaurants and coffee shops and pizzerias. Extra friendly staff. We loved it. Truly recommend it for anyone visiting Florence.

The images of the hotel in TripAdvisor (and other platforms) are seriously misleading. The hotel has very poor conditions, especially for the target price! The walls are peeling, the AC unit is so dirty it is disgusting. They also have the AC in some sort of timer, as it turns off at specific times, and then you have to go to the reception to ask them to turn it on! Ridiculous The window in my room did not close properly, so the room was always filled with mosquitos. In the bathroom the water from the shower leaked to the whole bathroom floor, it got slippery and dangerous; the answer from the reception was that they would not fix it while I was there, to put more towels on the floor. The room is so small, that to have a place to sit at the computer I had to put the mini-fridge in the middle of the room In general the staff are not very friendly/useful.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the air conditioning. The hotel is is serious need of some TLC! The staff are miserable and the breakfast is woefully inadequate, when items run out they don’t get replenished.

Lovely decorated hotel close to everything by foot. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, loved the art on the room doors. Very good attentive service from the staff. Close to train station, close to all the sights, some wonderful restaurants around the corner from the hotel. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Florence.

If you check Google reviews for this hotel, there are numerous reviews that say the staff is rude. I was hoping to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt, so we booked anyway. Unfortunately, those google reviews about rude staff were very very correct. Everything felt incredibly transactional at this hotel. There was no attempt to get to know the guest or offer any kind of extra care. The “bare minimum” is how I would describe this hotel. Breakfast is depressing. It is the same bare minimum thing every day. A couple slimy cold cuts, pre-made pastries, and hard-boiled eggs. Nothing more, nothing less. I have had better, fresher, and more variety from 2-star hotels. For a 3-star hotel, this was embarrassing. It is also deceptive to use Illy brand cups and serve a much, much cheaper and lesser quality espresso (the breakfast lady said they used Manareso, which tastes nothing like the high quality of Illy). As for the rooms, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything going on in the room next to you. The hot water in the shower was sporadic. The hair dryer also barely worked. There were even days when we had no soap restocked in the room after cleaning. You also have NO control over the heat and air conditioning. The kicker was that the guy at reception actually had the nerve to ask us to pay our bill THREE days prior to checking out because we stayed multiple days, had a “big bill” (which, believe me, wasn’t worth the price AT ALL), and he “didn’t want any problems with the money”. Verbatim words….Really?! I would have been happy to pay the bill early (I actually normally do this anyway). But the way he confronted me about this made me feel like he was insinuating I was going to skip out on the bill or pay with a faulty credit card. How insulting! The more respectful approach would have been to say: “here is our policy to pay within 72 hours of check-out” NOT: “I don’t want any problems with your money.” When I shared my disappointment with Marco (the ignorant man at reception) about this, he started to give me excuses about how he has had trouble with Americans paying the bill in the past. So…now I am insulted AND stereotyped? What kind of hotel says that to someone who stays there over a week? Well, maybe if your staff actually got to know me and took care and attention to detail, you’d know that I go to Florence often and was searching for my new regular-stay hotel. This hotel, unfortunately, will not be it….Not after this ignorant treatment and lack of amenities/service. But wait, there’s more…the next TWO receptionists (that evening and then the next morning) all made it a point to incessantly **remind** me “I have to pay early”…this hotel does NOT treat their customers like guests. Instead, they treat you like a CRIMINAL. Absolutely ignorant and disrespectful place that definitely should not have a 3-star ranking. Che schifo!!

Stayed here for 4 nights as a base in Florence. We stayed in 2019 pre-COVID, and still found the hotel to be a great base, located near the train station and within walking distance of the main sights. Staff all very friendly and helpful, breakfast selection plentiful including breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries e.t.c, with hot drinks, water and juices also. Air conditioning in room also worked well, and it was lovely to come back from exploring in the heat to a nice cool room. Would definitely return on a future visit and would recommend to others. If you are looking for a more luxury stay very close to the sights, this is not the place for you, however it is a lovely, charming little base!

We stayed two nights, and the AC didn’t work well. It was during mid July, so AC not working was the worst experience ever, we couldn’t sleep throughout the night. We requested the manager to change the room for the second night, but he wasn’t helpful at all. I’d highly recommend you folks to pay €10-20 extra and stay at a better place where the AC works. Other than that, it was close to all major landmarks and the train station. And the hotel was clean.

Very pleased with this choice. The hotel is near train station and not so far from the historical center. We asked for a room at the last floor and is was very quite (noise only from the neighbours). The room was not very big but nice and clean. Bathroom with towel and soap/shampoo/shower gel. The wifi is very good. Air conditioning works properly. The breakfast was divers and good. No complains. Try it! :)
