We stayed at The Playa Mar Hotel between Saturday 6th April and Friday 12th April 2024 . It was our second visit as a family with children now aged 8 and 12 . The hotel is beautiful, spotless clean and very well maintained . All the staff are wonderful , polite , professional, attentive and friendly. Food quality excellent . Children’s facilities also great , plenty to do and keep the kids busy with a variety of activity, sport during the day and entertainment on the evenings . The weather was unpredictable in April , but the backup was the Spa facilities that children are able to use between 12 and 4 pm . Our rating would be 5 *Star because we simply love the place and would never of returned for a second time had we not . Happy customers make a happy place to work too so I think they have an equal balance and that also shines through. A thank you goes a long way! Angi ( Restaurant ) Marcus ( Bar ) , Stefan ( Animation ) were people who we remember making us very welcome. However, EVERY hotel employee deserves praise , they were all wonderful! Too many to mention! Well done Playa Mar and Spa for letting us escape to a little bit of pamper and paradise that was much needed after the every day stresses of life at home and work . Also , to give an additional mention to the operator’ Fram ‘ who were a French based tour operator that joined in with all the kids stuff and were just as welcoming despite the fact we never booked our holiday with them. We returned for a 3rd time in September, and yet again had an absolutely incredible stay. It really is an unforgettable experience staying at Playa Mar and is a very special place indeed. All of the staff and animation team are amazing, the service is superb throughout and we couldn't be made to feel more welcome. Such a good place for a family holiday and the kids just love it! We actually went twice last year - both in June & September since we enjoy it so much, and have booked to return again very soon this year!

Amazing stay at this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect for us, great a**osphere, clean and comfortable rooms, great choice of food at every meal. We were all inclusive, which was great, always something available, good bar. The staff are so friendly without exception. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent base for cycling in Majorca. Mountains, flat and rolling countryside available. Great choice of fresh locally sourced food. Clean rooms and facilities. Great staff who work as a team to satisfy the customers. I hope to return next year.

I stayed with a number of friends from my cycling club and was very impressed. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Hotel was clean and has lots of amenities. Only ventured into the spa on the last day for a peek but it looked great. Food was a little above the standard of the usual all inclusive fare with wide variety of choices and kitchen staff were willing to cook specific things on request. WiFi was available throughout. Location was little out of the way but an nice sea front walk into the centre of Puerto Pollenca. All in all very enjoyable visit.

Amazing hotel, staff were awesome, friendly & accommodating. Food was fab, and they catered for us & most of our group were vegan/ vegetarian and I am gluten free. You only had to ask and they sorted this with no issue at all. Perfect place 10/10

There aren’t enough compliments for the staff truly. As someone that travels a lot and spends a lot of time in hotels. This hotel has definitely far exceeded my expectations and I would definitely say it’s the best hotel service I’ve ever received, from the catering staff to the cleaning staff. Everyone is genuinely helpful and very cheerful. The hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy and it smells like too. The hotel facilities and amenities are everything I expect in a 4* hotel everything is up to the expected standard. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you ever in Majorca. I cannot wait to go back personally.

Amazing hotel. We travelled with 3 children ( 7months, 3yrs and 5yrs). They loved everything. The outdoor pools were brilliant for young kids. Although a little chilly at the start of April. We had wetsuits which meant they could stay in longer. There was a kids disco every evening. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. We were all inclusive, breakfast, lunch and dinner were brilliant, with lots of choices for everyone. The day time snacks were limited to crisps, biscuits and sandwiches. Very wheelchair accessible with great wheelchair rooms. No hoist into the pool though. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

From the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave we loved it! We had a lovely suite with private garden which suited us perfectly. We went all inclusive and could not fault any meal we had, we really enjoyed the themed nights they had in restaurant too (Mexican night was great) The pool was amazing for the kids to play in but also nice for the adults to relax by. All the staff are lovely and friendly but I must say the animation team are in a class of their own! Andreea, Stefan, Paul & Sami are a credit to the hotel. They really make it their mission for the kids to have a great holiday (and adults too!) so many different things for the kids to do, a great mix of activities for both kids and adults. We made use of the spa and treated ourselves to a massage trea**ent which is the best I’ve ever had! Felt brand new leaving there! I will definitely be returning for sure!
